Beach Photo

The wide availability of digital cameras combined with the beautiful beaches around Dar es Salaam means that everybody has a photo of the beach.Unfortunately the beach is often one of the most difficult places to take a good photo,despite their beauty. These are a few simple tips that will help you take great beach photos. 1) Try a different time of day. The middle of day is often nice and warm, but the light is often very bright and uninteresting.The photo to the right is a little boring without any extra color.Come back at sunrise or sunset for added color in the sky.

2) Add an element that grabs attention. The photo to the left has great color, but nothing special that attracts your eyes to set it apart. Adding something like the ripples to the shoreline (above) draws our attention and makes it even more interesting.

3) Offset the horizon. In the photo to the right, the sky and water have equal space, in which neither is presented as the subject of the picture. When the photo is symmetrical, thereâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s no tension. The photo above creates drama by giving more space to the sky. Adding one or more of these tips should make your beach photos more interesting and enjoyable.
