Life Plan Communities Are The Future
Peace of Mind. We certainly place a premium on that quality these days. And, to a large extent, our homes are the source of that peace.

For those living in a gated 55+ active adult community, there is plenty of security found in one’s home, while complemented by a myriad of recreational and cultural amenities, lifelong friends, and the highly valued familiarity of your surroundings as you age gracefully in place.
But, imagine if you added in the bonus of onsite Lifecare, right there in the community, and available if and when you need it at no extra cost. Now that’s peace of mind.
And, it also might be the future of active adult living, a great new option for people 55 and over looking for a vibrant place to live, while keeping their quality of life for years to come.
That future is called a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), or life plan community, but you can just think of it as a 55+ with benefits…great benefits. The CCRC offers a continuum of care – from independent living, assisted living/personal care, memory care, and skilled nursing care – all met within the community.
You might guess that a predominance of life plan communities would be located in, say, Florida, Arizona, or the Carolinas, but the state with the most CCRCs in the country is Pennsylvania. And, leading that state’s offerings are Willow Valley Communities in Lancaster, PA, an intimate and welcoming town that was recently ranked by U.S. News as #3 on its “Best Places to Retire” list, ahead of Asheville, NC, and Port St. Lucie, FL.
Lancaster is located 90 minutes west of Philadelphia and is framed by the Susquehanna River in the heart of Amish farm country. In fact, the community was founded
