Murals For Downtown Wellen

Wellen Park | Venice, FL

Wellen Park has chosen three noted Florida artists to create new signature murals for the community’s Downtown Wellen commercial and entertainment center. Laura Pommier, Christian Stanley, and Ivan Roque were selected from nearly two dozen proposals submitted to the Downtown Wellen Mural Project. The large-scale paintings will adorn the sides of buildings in high-profile locations and are expected to be completed by mid-January 2023. Those artistic debuts will coincide with a soft opening of Downtown Wellen’s outdoor amenities and first businesses. The fully leased center of community activity will celebrate its official grand opening in April with restaurants, shops, professional offices, entertainment venues, and recreational areas around the 80-acre Grand Lake.
