A circular economy involves minimising material usage from the very beginning. Diamatec®, made with a distinctive blend of alumina and chamotte, achieves exceptional strength and durability with less material. To make an equally durable product, we would have to use 25% more fine fire clay material. However, the robust nature of Diamatec® ceramic material means we can craft thinner basins using less material.
Superior, splash-free flushing, even at low water volumes. For spaces where hygiene is paramount, and for washrooms where first impressions are essential, AquaBlade® is the ultimate design solution.
Ensures 95% of the surface is cleaned every time. Proven to be up to 25% quieter than equivalent models. More effective and efficient use of water compared to standard flushes.
Diamatec® Brass is our most sustainable brassware. Making up more than 90% of our fittings, it uses less raw materials and creates more durable taps with optimal wall thickness, which is only possible because of the use of a much stronger, Dezincification Resistant (DZR) brass alloy.
Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technology allows us to apply fine layers of metal, atom by atom. Used for our coloured fittings, this allows us to control the composition, hardness and durability of the surface compounds, resulting in vibrant shades that are still free from scratches and abrasion marks even after 10,000 uses.
PVD COATINGS We pioneered the ceramic disc cartridge in 1969. This innovation redefined the way people used bathrooms and made it possible to create the single lever tap. Today, FirmaFlow® sets the standard for quality with its innovative engineering and exceptional durability, comfort and control. Designed to deliver smooth operation for over 500,000 use cycles - more than six times the EU norm (EN817).

The innovative fitting features sequential mixer technology for precise temperature and flow control, with an optional touchless model providing enhanced convenience.
The Solos shower range combines intuitive controls, a variety of spray modes, and integrated ambient lighting for a luxurious, spa-like experience. The overhead shower features a customisable colour-changing light to create a relaxing atmosphere. With luxurious spray modes, including the innovative SilkRain jet, users can indulge in a sensory shower experience tailored to their preferences.
COLLECTION
Solos’ innovative and visually striking flagship piece is a unique integrated combination of a fitting and basin. The basin's fine, straight lines and extremely thin edges give it a distinctive weightless look, while the sophisticated fitting completes the seamless, pure appearance. Only the graceful spout and control knob are visible, with the supporting technology hidden underneath the basin, making this combination truly unique.
The tap hole has been drilled with such precision that there is no need for an escutcheon ring, which would typically hide any small breakages and ensure stability.

Solos is packed with hidden technology that quietly makes life better. Here’s what our sequential valve and capacitive sensor do for you.
SEQUENTIAL VALVE
A sequential valve creates a tap where turning a single handle or lever controls both water flow and temperature. They are simple to operate and are often used in taps for accessible bathrooms and washrooms.
Here’s how they work: Turning to the right closes the valve and shuts off the water. Turning progressively to the left first delivers cold water, then warm water and fully to the left hot water. Please note: A special basin with small holes is needed for the Solos tap with the Ø20mm spout and Ø30mm handle.
CAPACITIVE SENSOR
Capacitive sensors are not visible, unlike infrared sensors, offering opportunities for sleeker, more minimalist design.
Here’s how it works: One electrode is attached to the spout and another to the wall under the basin. A thermostatic pre-mixer is installed on the angle valve to the wall. The sensor has three levels of sensitivity which can be adjusted after installation with the control button on the sensor box. Touchless detection starts and stops the water. Water starts to flow when the hand approaches the spout from any direction and stays on as long as the hands are within range.
For more flexibility, Solos fittings can also be combined with our Extra-Solos basins.
The Solos showering range combines intuitive, smart controls with a sleek, minimalist look and a variety of spray modes to create a sophisticated all-in-one showering solution. Navigo® technology in the thermostatic mixers allows you to operate the water flow of the shower with one smooth push-and-turn movement, to easily switch between rain shower and hand-spray and even to experience them both simultaneously.

Solos includes intuitive controls on the shower mixers to easily select the different sprays of the rain shower. The Navigo® spray selector on the extra-large hand shower makes switching spray modes equally convenient.
For more flexibility, the range includes both built-in and wall-mounted models, as well as head showers in two different sizes that can be wall or ceiling-mounted and come with or without the light feature. The built-in model even features a remote control that can either be attached to the unit or installed elsewhere in the showering area.
With the light option, you can set the tone for the full spectrum shower experience. The shower head LED light control integrates with all apps and devices using any smart home apps - such as Philips Hue or Amazon Echo.

GUARANTEE Our confidence in the quality and reliability of Ideal Standard products enables us to guarantee many of them for a lifetime. Our guarantee is offered on all products that have been used in the manner for which they were intended, and does not apply to any products that have been misused or abused in any way. Products must be installed and cared for in line with our fixing instructions and local water bye-laws. In the unlikely event the product fails within the guarantee period, we offer a free replacement or replacement part (or nearest equivalent). Liability is limited to individual products and does not cover consequential loss or damage on installation. All ceramic products are guaranteed for a lifetime. Acrylic baths are guaranteed for 25 years from date of purchase.
Bath panels, furniture, mixers, taps and showers, WC suite seats and cistern fittings are guaranteed for five years from date of purchase. Parts (including push button flush valves) are guaranteed for five years and will be replaced if found to be faulty. Cistern diaphragms, seals and shower seals are not included. The guarantee is transferable ‘it applies to the product not the purchaser’ provided guarantee registration details are passed on to the new owner.
