i.life - a step away from ordinary

Recently launched, i.life sits within Ideal Standard’s Essentials Collection, and encompasses a wide selection of products that offer a complete solution for any bathroom.

The collection was created in collaboration with renowned Italian design studio, Palomba Serafini Associati (PS+A) and comprises three distinct ranges. Each with their own design character and technical features, but all with the same spirit and energy. Both i.life A and i.life S are available now and i.life B will be available soon. The i.life collection features simple geometric shapes combined with gentle curves across a varied range of products, all are built to last and engineered to perfection.

With a wide variety of design-led products available, in a range of sizes, including basins, WCs, baths, showers and furniture, the i.life ranges ensure design and practicality are perfectly balanced for those looking to create stand-out spaces at a smart price point.

What’s more, all the pieces in i.life benefit from Ideal Standard’s industry-leading engineering and technology. For instance, all the WCs within the collection feature RimLS+ technology, which with its powerful flush ensures the entire bowl is cleaned more thoroughly every time. i.life S Compact CC WC & Seat

WC options across the three ranges cover all the floor standing and wall-hung options and include quick release soft-close seats for easy cleaning and minimal disruption in busy family homes. The i.life S wall mounted pans also feature a unique hidden fixation system, EasyFix+ which allows for a one-person installation with a seamless connection to the wall that reduces the installation time by up to 10%.

The full i.life collection can also be paired with the Ceraplan range of mixers which have been redesigned to be slimmer, simpler and smoother than before.

i.life A

Offering a selection of basins, WCs and furniture, i.life A is characterised by soft, rounded ceramics and accessible design. Combining i.life’s practical and design-led aesthetics, i.life A is perfect for busy family spaces, where safety and functionality are paramount.

i.life A features hand rinse and washbasins from 35cm to 60cm widths, corner and semi-countertop basins. Vanity basins up to 124cm in width combine with dedicated units. Semi-countertop and WC units and column units within the range offer enhanced versatility,

i.life S

i.life S has been designed specifically to complement smaller spaces. Its contemporary, space-saving, soft-square design, is seen throughout the variety of ceramics and furniture options – including basins, WCs and vanity units. Pieces are short in projection with washbasins and vanity basins projecting just 38cm, and close coupled and the BTW WCs 60cm and 48cm respectively.

The space-saving doesn’t just stop there, the vanity units also offer a number of storage options, with one and two-drawer vanity units available in widths of 50cm, 60cm and 80cm.

i.life furniture

The finishing touch to i.life is the extensive selection of stylish furniture all offered in a choice of seven finishes: matt white, sand beige matt, carbon grey matt, greige matt, quartz grey matt, coffee oak and natural oak. The option of brushed chrome or matt black handles adding further design possibilities. All of the furniture in the i.life collection features soft closing doors and drawers to give a more premium feel for busy bathrooms.

i.life bathing and showering

The i.life range also incorporates several baths, shower enclosures and trays which all feature a contemporary, style to match the wider range. The i.life bathing range is a comprehensive offering of Idealform and Idealform Plus+ rectangular acrylic baths. These single and double ended models cover a multitude of sizes, ranging from 150cm to 180cm.

As with all Ideal Standard Idealform and Idealform Plus+ acrylic baths they have the trusted 25 year guarantee for confidence in the quality and reliability of the products. Idealform Plus+ baths benefit from double the reinforcement thanks to its four-layer structure which provides exceptional strength and rigidity.

A new panel fixing kit allows for a concealed installation without the need to drill all the way through the panel making them easy to remove for maintenance and aesthetically pleasing.

The new i.life 8mm semi-framed shower enclosure range embodies quality and performance. At two meters tall, the enclosures feature slim, polished, aluminium profiles and long solid handles, for an elegant, modern aesthetic. The products are also real time-savers, with features like ‘Click and Clean’ panels that can be thoroughly exposed for cleaning and ‘IdealClean’ glass treatment, which can reduce cleaning time by up to 90%, while soft-close slider options add an extra premium touch.

Completing the offering is the Ultra Flat S i.life shower tray range, which is available in 27 sizes, square and rectangular shaped, and four finishes: pure white, concrete grey, sand and jet black. The textured stone resin trays have a robust gel coat finish, which not only gives a quality ‘stone’ characteristic to its surface but also provides important anti-slip properties.

The Ultra Flat S trays can be installed either on the floor, or flush with the floor creating a seamless, luxury feel for a level access installation. They can also be ‘installer cut’ on site if the installation requires, making them work for any space. The trays come complete with a colour matched waste cover for a neat, harmonised look that further enhances the shower.

Wall-hung furniture has several advantages over traditional floorstanding options. For one, it keeps the floor clear and makes cleaning easier. More of the floor on show also makes a small bathroom appear bigger.
