Sailability Wellington Trust provides inclusive sailing opportunities, enabling individuals with disabilities to experience sailing safely and inexpensively. There are just under 200 sailors with a wide variety of disabilities, who are encouraged, helped and taught how to sail by the members of our support crew. These volunteers are trained in their roles, be they skippering yachts, managing the dock or providing safety for our sailing members.

From ‘therapeutic cruising’ to a comprehensive ‘learn to sail’ program, Sailability Wellington ensures that everyone, regardless of disability, can learn and participate in sailing and connect to the natural world. For advanced sailors, Sailability Wellington has established a competitive racing squad who have competed with success at national and international levels.
