DIBARI’S KITCHEN | 2014 INSPIRED BY THE LIFESTYLE AND INTEREST OF THE DIBARI COUPLE IN CONTEMPORARY ARTS AND DESIGN THIS KITCHEN IS INTERPRETED AS GOURMET STUDIO, A SPACE WHERE FOOD EXPERTS CAN EXPERIMENT AND INNOVATE NEW FORMS OF FOOD, APPRECIATING THE ART OF CREATING AND EATING FOOD. WHEREAS THE DINING AREA AS GASTRONOMY GALLERY, A SPACE TO EXPERIͳ ENCE AND EXPLORE THE MASTERPIECES CREATED FROM THE GOURMET STUDIO. FLOOR PLAN (NTS) THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FLOORS DIFFEREN TIATE THE KITCHEN AND THE DINING AREA, WHILE THE CONTRASTING MATERIALS LIKE THE STAINED CONCRETE, GLASS, AND THE LIGHT MAHOGANY WOOD TEXTURE CREATE A DYNAMIC FUSION WITHIN THE SPACE. A POP OF RED IS ALSO USED AS A CONTEMPORARY ART EFFECT, LOOKING LESS DULL.

VERTICAL GARDEN / GREEN WALL LOCAT由 ED JUST BESIDE THE DINING TABLE AREA, CREATING A REFRESHING AND NATURAL AMBIENCE INSIDE THE SPACE. HUGE ALINING GLASS WINDOWS ALLOW THE SUN SHINE IN, HENCE IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE PLANTS TO GROW INDOORS.

OPENNESS THIS PROJECT AS INSPIRED BY THE LANGSTROTH HIVES HAS ELEMENTS OF OPENNESS, TOGETHERͳ NESS, UNITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND FUNCTIONALͳ ITY. BREAKING THE ORDINARY, THE USE OF DOORS IS ALMOST ABSENT IN THIS DESIGN, CREATING THE SENSE OF “UNPRIVATE HOUSE”, WHILE STILL HAVING A PROPER CLOSURE FOR PRIVATE ACTIVIͳ TIES. WARM AMBIENCE WILL RESULT FROM THE MIX OF COLORS AND OTHER ELEMENTS REFLECTͳ ING THE PERSONALITY OF THE OWNER, PLUS ADEQUATE SPACE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILIͳ TIES ON THE FIRST FLOOR. THE NEST OF WHOLEͳ NESS ALLOWS THE FAMILY TO GATHER TOGETHER, COMPLETE AS ONE, WHERE EACH MEMBER CAN HAVE THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES, WITHOUT LACKING INTERACTION BETWEEN EACH OTHER.

T H E S I T T I N G S TA I R S A UNIQUE FEATURE OF THE FLAT INCLUDES THE SITTING STAIRS. IT HAS A MULTIFUNCTION PURPOSE IN ORDER TO SAVE THE SPACE. IT CAN BE USED AS A SEATING SYSTEM FOR 4 PERSONS, ACTS AS A STORAGE, AS WELL AS, OF COURSE, STAIRS TO CONNECT TO THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE FLAT.

THE RECEPTION AREA IS RESPRESENTED BY MONOCHROͳ MATIC BLACK & WHITE AND A TOUCH OF GOLD. THIS SPACE REPRESENTS “THINKING INSIDE THE BOX”. HINTS OF CHINESE ART & FURNITURES UNITES “THE BOX” WITH “OUTSIDE THE BOX”.

“OUTSIDE THE BOX”

WHITE COLOR ACTS AS THE BASE OF THIS SPACE, WITH CONTRASTING SPLASHES OF COLORS OF FURNITURES HERE AND THERE. THE REST OF THE OFFICE ARE “OUTSIDE THE BOX” AREA, WHERE CREATIVE MINDS ARE LITERALLY THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX TO CREATE INNOVATIVE IDEAS.

CONTRAST DIFFERENT LEVELS CREATE AN EXPERIENCE AS WE ENTER A NEW SPACE , LIKE IN THE MEETING ROOM, OR TRANSITION FROM “THE BOX” TO “OUTSIDE THE BOX” AREA. ASIDE FROM THE COLOR, MATERIALS AND LEVELS, CONTRAST ALSO HAPPEN IN THE LIGHTING. “THE BOX” AREA FEELS MORE SECLUDED AND DARK, SINCE NATURAL LIGHTING IS ABSENT, WHILE “OUTSIDE THE BOX” IS RICH WITH NATURAL LIGHTING THROUGH THE FLOOR TO CEILING GLASS WINDOWS.

BA L I SAVOY E | 2 0 1 4 THIS PROJECT REQUIRED THE STUDENT TO DESIGN A 2+1 BEDROOM FLAT AND CREATE SEVERAL PERSPECTIVE VIEWS USING 3DMAX APPLICATION. MY DESIGN COMBINES THE SIMPLICITY OF LE CORBUSIER’S VILA SAVOYE WITH BALINESE ACCENT AND AMBIENCE. THESE ARE THE RENDERED VIEW OF THE LIVING ROOM, DINING AREA, AS WELL AS THE LOUNGE AREA.

“KASIH” LAMP | 2014 THE CONCEPT DERIVES FROM LOVE, A POWERFUL EMOTION AND ACTION. WHEN ALL THINGS FAIL, LOVE NEVER FAILS. THE LED LIGHT REPRESENTS LOVE, WHILE THE EMPTY BOTTLES ARE PROBLEMS AND THE BARRIERS WE FACE IN OUR DAILY LIVES. THE LIGHT GOES THROUGH ALL THE BOTTLES WITH PERSEVERANCE, AND IT SHINES SO BRIGHTͳ LY AND CONTINUOUSLY, AND IT EVEN AFFECT THE SURROUNDING WITH ITS POWER, EXACTLY PORͳ TRAYING WHAT LOVE CAN DO IF WE ACT IT OUT.

THE COMPANY NEEDS TO DESIGN THEIR LOGO, BUSINESS CARD, LETTERHEAD, ENVELOPE, PURCHASING FORM, STICKERS, FOLD由 ERS, STAMP, AND THEIR PRODUCT CATALOG. THE KEYWORDS TO EXPRESS THE COMPANY THROUGH THE BRANDING ARE PROFESSIONAL, MODERN, AFFORDABLE, DARING.

WESIT AS SEEN ON THE RIGHT ARE BRANDING PRODUCTS FOR WESIT COMPANY. THE BLACK AND GRAY SYMBOLIZES PROFESSIONALISM, SERIOUSNESS, AND MODERNITY WHILE THE CONTRASTING YELLOW SYMBOLIZES AFFORDABILITY AND DARING. THE DESIGN IS SIMPLE AND CLEAN, SO THAT THE MESSAGE AND THE BRANDING ITSELF CAN COMMUNICATE THE MESSAGE CLEARLY TO THE CLIENTS REGARDING THE COMPANY.
