Local senior living leader creates two new companies to better serve older adults Christian Living Communities, a Colorado, faithbased, not-for-profit senior care and services organization, has restructured by launching a new parent company, Christian Living Ventures, which focuses on mergers, acquisitions and affiliations with other senior care organization to create more affordable senior housing. The number of people 65-plus will double between 2010 and 2050 and the number of those 85 or older increasing four fold. Between 2000 and 2010, for the first time in Colorado, the 65-plus population grew at a faster rate than the state population: 32 percent compared with 17 percent. Whether it is creating more affordable senior housing or partnering in the management of more senior housing, this new structure positions the trio of companies to serve more older adults than ever before.
