Greetings from the sunny east coast of

Florida! I always love this time of year, because even though we feel the sum mer

heat quite a bit before the rest of the US, it jump starts revived creative juices–and our follow through at this year’s National Stationery Show will attest to that!

We have so many new things to share this season. I looked around my own desk and

the day-to-day items we use at the office

and thought; What could be a bit more fun? What is something really new we could

share with our fellow stationery fans? After a few months of brainstorming,

A LOT of logistics and prototyping, we have a great collection of fun desk

accessories to launch! Pen Sets, Magnet

Collections, and giant Sticky Note Cubes in all-new hand painted designs, ready to spruce up your workspaces. We have

more up our sleeves for launch in August– so stay tuned!

With all of these new gift territories I’ve chartered over the last few months or so, I’m excited to expand the breadth of our

line to include fun, new products I hope your customers will love.

MISSION Idlewild Co.’s mission is driven by a passion for unique,

artisanal quality products that offer a breath of fresh air in a

Idlewild Co. is a boutique paper goods company founded in 2010 by Katie Gastley. Katie has lent her artistic talents to such brands as: Martha Stewart Living, Penguin Children’s Books,

Hugo Boss, Sonix, and Galison Publishers. What would become

a nationally distributed stationery and gift line began with

a pop-up at the Renegade Festival in McCarren Park, Brooklyn.

Shoppers noticed her hand-painted Brooklyn neighborhood prints and asked if Katie would create wedding stationery based on the artwork- and she did! With a robust collection

of hand-painted wedding suites under her belt, she expanded her work into a fully branded line of greeting cards that debuted at the National Stationery Show in 2012. In a few E M I LY H A R R I S O N -ACH ST U DIO
