First day back to school! Last Tuesday was bittersweet for me as I dropped off my two toddlers at pre-school. Our fun-filled summer days of spending hours at the community pool, doing arts and crafts, field trips, watching cartoons, playing outside and sleeping in were now over. Hearing my older one saying multiple times that she doesn't want to go to school made me feel a little sad, however the thought of someone else watching over them and giving me a break doesn't sound that bad either. As I walked each of them to their classroom, the excitement of seeing their old friends and teachers seem to evaporate their anxiety. Ninjalike, I was able to disappear without neither of them crying. That's a win in my book. Now, if the remaining drop-offs can be so easy . . . . . . . .
