A 7 degree ( red) rotation block is selected. A metal drill guide is placed, and the trajectory is verified.

Adequate attached tissue allows tissue punch.

Nobel Biocare starting drill is used ( not to full depth) , although an Astra Tech implant will be placed. The starting drill removes the tissue plug, and flattens the ridge.
