Jordan (Jo) Sandoval says everyone around her knew she belonged in the beauty industry before she did. “I always enjoyed sitting with my grandma and my mom during their hair appointments,” she says. “Then once middle school and high school came, I was always doing my friends’ hair for dances.” Sandoval opened Sand + Co in Center Valley in October of 2022 and loves making new friends in her chair.

“Being able to truly connect with clients on a personal level is a blessing,” she says. And as for her salon, she says exciting things are in the works, so stay tuned.
