When it comes to working with the nooks and crannies of your home–especially when they’ve been around for a few decades, Rachel Frey of Rachel Frey Interiors, says that embracing those quirks can make all the difference in design. The banquet-style breakfast nook Rachel created opened up the space and gave an opportunity to add more personal details like the gallery wall that is sure to be a conversation starter. While some projects were planned–the coffee station was truly a happy accident. “It was very last minute, and while I was designing the space, I had this moment where I said, ‘where am I going to put the coffee maker?’” Rachel says. Complete with open shelving and statement artwork, this station is a foolproof way to start mornings on the right foot.
