Working with old-established Italian tanneries, IDP has always been able to offer new and exclusive leathers to the market, and it became one of the Italian brands best known abroad for the quality of its products. IDP aimed at customers who look for practicality in a product as well as a quality. IDP is a brand in constant evolution that studies the market to anticipate trends and fashions, and satisfy the most demanding customers.

NATURAL LEATHER The leather is a natural product. Each hide is unique. The color, texture, and markings vary from hide to hide and even within a single hide. It is not unusual to see color differences, grain changes, and even scars or brand marks on a piece of furniture. IDP leather sofa collections can be made with different categories of leather that are created using different processes. That is what accounts for the different looks and feels of IDP leather sofa. At IDP, we use top grain leather. A hide is actually much thicker than a finished upholstery leather. Before it is finished, a hide is split into layers. The layer closest to the surface is the Top Grain and includes the actual surface of the skin with all of its natural pores, wrinkles, and scars. It is the strongest part of the hide.

SKIN TOUCH The choice of a leather lounge is a choice of quality, but also to the perception of a noble material that transfers to the domestic world a unique italian style. We treat the source material by a natural and ecological process, with the same care with which the man is protecting his own skin. Only with these course we can ensure comfort and a unique feeling of our product.

Service is our top priority at IDP, we go the extra lengths to inform all customers of natural scar marks, insect bites and natural creases within leather, these marks show the true 100% value of the leather used and should not be considered as defects or faults, but markings from 100% natural characteristics. We also educate the end consumer how to move their furniture when cleaning, never pull on vulnerable areas such as arm-pads, but move by a suitable part of the frame, lift, do not drag along floors. Never sit on arm pads, this will cause indentations and damage the flex board used within the armframe. IDP will soon be introducing Aftercare Programs for retailers, in turn will service and maintain the product/s for the end consumer – this will be a plus point for retailers.

LEATHER KIT The kit is a veritable elixir of longevity for maintaining IDP Leather products. SOFT CLEANER removes dust, grime and normale soiling from the leather. Leather cream nourishes the leather and keeps it “alive. Ink remover is a stick thet removes even the most difficult stain.

SKIN CARE Wipe the leather furniture down regularly with a clean, dry cloth. Apply a leather conditioner regularly. Clean spills immediately with a dry cloth and then leave alone as the spot should dissipate into the leather after a short period of time. Avoid soaking the leather in water or soap. Buff small scratches in the leather with a microfiber cloth. Keep leather furniture out of direct sunlight.

QUALITY OF STRUCTURE The structure of your sofa is built to last a very long time. Solid wood, metal, aluminum, plywood panels are the most common materials. The frames of the chairs are usually made of wood and oversized section are related to joints with more teeth. When the structures are made of metal, the section is treated with anti-scratch. On the frames of the sessions are stretched out elastic webbing between them, which will support the cushions.
