:A TALE OF ZOMBIES VS ALIENS
THE STORY SO FAR… In the separatist zero-footprint Carbon Falls Collective in rural Montana, a community reels from the death of their leader, “Rennie” Robertson. His son Huxley, now thrust into a leadership role that not everyone embraces, wants to keep pushing the town further toward full sustainability, lest the government cast an eye their way. Some of the old hard-liners in town, led by Randy Roy Grist, prefer their former militia status and see red over the idea of going green. But all of this community strife had to take a backseat when an alien craft appeared overhead in the woods outside of town. The aliens’ tractor beam somehow reanimated a corpse at the cemetery and pulled it aboard their ship, and the resulting zombie attack caused them to crash down outside of town. As Hux and other townsfolk explore the crash site, aliens escaped the ship, chased by the zombie, who manages to sink his desiccated teeth into one of the humans, before taking a pitchfork to the chest. It’s only then that Hux and company see that their dead friend is coming back to life, and his attacker is not only still moving, but is someone they recognize… and buried a while back. And now it’s two days later. As zombie plagues are known to do, this one has spread.
