GODZILLA has emerged from the ocean off the coast of Japan. ANGUIRUS has risen from the ground in Mexico. RODAN has hatched from an egg in Russia. BATTRA has re-emerged from his cocoon in France. KUMONGA has burst from the ground in the midwestern United States. KING GHIDORAH has been released from his prison in the mountains of Asia. And things are just getting worse: GODZILLA continues to rampage all over the United States, easily fighting off even humanity's last line of defense, MECHAGODZILLA. The super-weapon was developed in Detroit and sent to confront GODZILLA, only to malfunction mid-battle and turn on humanity. The government went underground, civilization crumbled and people began roaming the country seeking food and shelter, growing more and more desperate by the day. Meanwhile, as GODZILLA demolished Washington, D.C., KING GHIDORAH arrived to battle the gargantuan beast. After a devastating brawl, even KING GHIDORAH could not withstand the mighty power of GODZILLA's atomic breath. He lies defeated at GODZILLA's feet. But all hope is not lost: Steven Woods and Allie stumble upon the battle-scarred MECHAGODZILLA and climb inside. Woods finds the control center, and activates the manual controls... Special thanks to Yoshiko Fukuda and everyone at Toho for their invaluable assistance.
