In a world where superheroes are afforded all the advantages our celebrityobsessed culture has to offer... what do you do when the media mistakes you for a G.E.P. (Genetically Elevated Person)? If you’re mild-mannered slacker GREG PINCUS, you cave to the pressure of your opportunistic roommate (BARRY) and keep the charade going! ible 05 IFC Legal_Layout 1 2/26/14 5:56 PM Page 1 In the weeks since he was “discovered” to be a super-powered being, Greg’s helped bust up an armored-car robbery. Been arrested. And landed on a lot of people’s radar. For example: • DESIREE – the aspiring actress who previously wouldn’t give Greg the time of day, now can’t seem to get enough of him. • THE LEAGUE OF DEFENDERS – the superhero “collective” who lost one of their own in the aforementioned “bust,” and find themselves actively seeking a new recruit. • RICHARD – a Hollywood agent keen on representing the Man of Stone. • FREDERICK – Greg’s wholly frustrated brother who suspects the truth, but can’t convince his mother, JUNE, that Greg is living a lie. Unfortunately, Greg can’t allow himself to get too close to any of his new acquaintances for fear of being “outed.” And the one person he’d like to sidle up to, CATHY—a charming graduate student/nursing home volunteer—doesn’t intend to be anyone’s arm candy. In fact, the more the spotlight moves toward Greg, the less Cathy wants to stand beside him. Strap in for the second arc of INDESTRUCTIBLE, as Greg struggles to be a superhero who has to…

THE TEAM

KEN KRISTENSEN (WRITER)As a child, Ken Kristensen’s motivation to become a writer was solidified when DC Comics published his fanboy musings in FIRESTORM’s letter column. Between then and now his accomplishments include spending time in jail, unwittingly joining a doomsday cult, and sewing up his knee with green mint dental floss in the Zimbabwean outback. But he never gave up his dream of writing comics. Today he is an award-winning writer whose work includes Image Comics’ TODD, THE UGLIEST KID ON EARTH.
