Idyllwild Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats, as well as educating the public about responsible pet guardianship. ARF is not a shelter, therefor it is dependent upon loving fosters who care for dogs until they are adopted. ARF relies solely on donations and the occasional grant to keep its doors open. Every month ARF offers a lowcost vaccination clinic (Sadie’s Clinic) as well as a nail trim clinic. ARF offers low-cost micro chipping for dogs and cats. In Idyllwild and surrounding communities, ARF is the primary resource for lost and found pets. Volunteers are always welcomed, especially at special event fundraisers such as the Christmas Tree Lighting, Pets of the Year contest, and yard sales.
