Hi!, I’m Daniel, a 20 yo transportation design student. Since I can remember, the passion for motorsport has been there. Being not only enchanted by the aesthetics, but also function, sound and emotions provided.
I firmly believe that every car has a story, and I want to be the storyteller bringing them to life. I love working with classic cars, improving and mixing them with todays technology without loosing their esence.
For me design stands out no only for the appearance, but for the functionality, emotion and experience.

A mix of personal projects design with my interests. 01/ BMW FM12 A vision GT for BMW inspired on the legendary BMW M12
BMW HYDROBLADE
An hydrogen powered motorbike that mixes cafe racer style with latest BMW design trend
A way of making easier the transportation of goods or people from main vessel to open-sea petrol stations
PROJECTS
Develop a Vision Gran Turismo from an original model existing today using sketch, 3D and other tools. BRIEF
For this project I went on with the BMW M12, a not so known concept car from the German brand. MY PROPOSAL
DESCRIPTION
Firstly looking for key shapes of the original M12 so I can have a strong base to work with. The key elements I choose are the elevated headlights and huge rear shoulder, that give the vehicle a strong character.
After a few sketches pass directly to 3D development, looking for proportions, element shapes, details, racing and street version, etc...
Finally I arrived to the final result doing some renders to capture the beauty and sportyness of this vehicle.
EXTERIOR PROJECT
at IED BARCELONA
Create a motorbike that functions with H2 powertrain
+ a refuel station for the hydrogen cells.
PROPOSAL
Create a mix between these new technology and the cafe racer style, including the recent design trend of BMW.
DESCRIPTION
Taking as a base the package of a cafe racer and adapting it to H2 powertrain was a bit of a challenge.
My solution is spliting the air intakes in a asymetric way, meaning that it has a left air intake that cools all the fuel cell and bateries part; and a right vent that goes directly to the electric engine.
Also divided the main fuel cell in three so you can manage better when to recharge depending on how long are you going to use it for.
In aesthetics terms went simple and minimal, keeping the latest trend BMW is developing.
TWO WHEELS PROJECT
Made at IED BARCELONA
Proposing a simple solution to H2 fuel cell charging.
Composed by a rectangular panel where you can place the discharge cells of your motorbike and exchange them for fully charged ones.
This method lets you have a fast and simple charge without interrupting your weekend trip for too long.
The shapes are simple to keep the relation with the urban and minimal looks of the motorbike.
TWO WHEELS PROJECT
BRIEF
Desing a water vehicle that solves a social problem.
DESCRIPTION
This project is composed by a main vehicle (the Sealink) and other vessel for support.
For both I kept a minimal aproach, getting to represent the key idea of the project.
The main vehicle consist in a minimal space with seat for the workers and suitcase/ personal stuff shelves on the sides.
For the support vessel I represented the key points, that are the main structure, helipad and Sealink launcher.
NAUTICAL PROJECT
WHAT?
This is my personal project of car photography.
want to capture the uniqueness and details of cars I spot everyday, even if it is a car meet or I just found it while walking to university. WHY?
DESCRIPTION
A personal project focused on capturing speed, emotions and peoples work on cars. This is archieved by taking attention to details as engine covers, vinils, stickers or personalized rims.
This project has the objetive of colaborating in photo sessions with people or brands insed the motor world. So in this way I can get closer to unique cars and sometimes even try them.
