Sock Monster felt alone and different from other socks. They all had a twin – another sock that was just like them. So Sock Monster travelled through time and space using special time-travelling washing machines to search for his twin. One day he arrived at the Peters’ house. ‘Maybe I’ll find my lost twin here!’ he told himself as he hopped out of the washing machine.
Suddenly, Sock Monster heard a shriek. He looked up to find the hottest-looking sock he had ever seen. ‘Who are you?’ Sock Monster asked. ‘Well, I’m not sure...’ replied the hot-looking sock. ‘I’ve been behind this radiator for such a long time that all the other socks just call me Hot Sock.’
