BKCASE Editor in Chief Sought LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 6 November 2013 – The Body of Knowledge and Curriculum to Advance Systems Engineering Project (BKCASE), is seeking a replacement for the editor in chief, who is stepping down from the position after occupying it for more than four years. The four-year-old BKCASE, jointly led by IEEE Computer Society, the International Council on Systems Engineering, and the Systems Engineering Research Center, produces the Guide to the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK) and the Graduate Reference Curriculum for Systems Engineering (GRCSE). The EIC is responsible for the content and architecture of the SEBoK and GRCSE and reports to the BKCASE Board of Governors, which is appointed by the three steward organizations. Specific EIC responsibilities include: setting editorial policy, including broad guidance about SEBoK and GRCSE content, as well as detailed technical policy of formatting and style recruiting, appointing, and managing volunteer associate editors and paid staff deciding content and architecture changes to SEBoK and GRCSE proposing updates to SEBoK wiki technology planning and scheduling SEBoK and GRCSE content updates providing status updates to the board proposing a budget and managing funds assisting the board in their efforts to promote and promulgate the SEBoK and GRCSE and any derivative products.
