LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 28 August 2014 -- The Russian crime ring CyberVog last month made cybersecurity history by amassing the largest known collection of stolen Internet credentials, including 1.2 billion user name and password combinations and more than 500 million email addresses. But surprisingly, such major data thefts may not be the most frightening security threats we face.

IEEE Computer Society has created a quick quiz to see how the public's rankings compare to the experts when they gather for the Top 10 Scariest Security Threats Google Hangout on Monday, September 8 at 11 a.m. Pacific/2 p.m. Eastern.
