Meet the Computing in Science & Engineering Editors at the IEEE Computer Society Booth at SC12 LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 12 November, 2012 – Computing in Science & Engineering (CiSE) magazine will host a Meet-the-Editors event at the IEEE Computer Society booth at SC12 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Incoming CiSE Editor in Chief George K. Thiruvathukal, a computer science professor at Loyola University and codirector of Loyola's Center for Textual Studies and Digital Humanities, will be available at the IEEE Computer Society booth from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14. He will be accompanied by CiSE editors James D. Myers, associate director for Research and Development at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Volodymyr Kindratenko, a senior research scientist at the US National Center for Supercomputing Applications and a visiting lecturer at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign's electrical and computer engineering department. The IEEE Computer Society booth will be located in the Registration Lobby in the south foyer of the Salt Lake City Convention Center. Available at the booth will be free issues of CiSE as well as flyers for a discounted subscription. Individual meetings with the editors can be made by appointment.
