ABOUT Icelandic fashion brand iglo+indi was founded in 2008 by fashion designer Helga Ólafsdóttir. With the vision of creating an ethical brand of everyday luxuries that combine creativity and comfort, iglo+indi uses crisp colours, handmade illustrations, premium textures and soft organics. REACH FOR THE STARS For Spring/Summer 2019, iglo+indi draws inspiration from bright Icelandic summer nights. We play outside all day long and long into the night. The days seem infinite, the sun is shining and there is little difference between day and night. The playground turns into a circus filled with tigers, foxes, pandas and exotic birds. We eat cherries and watermelons and pick beautiful flowers. We paint stars in all colors into the sky. As we reach for them, the stars fall into the ground. We lay on the ground, close our eyes and wish that we could stay up all night exploring this magical world, surrounded by our stars. The collection features playful embroideries, prints of stars, lightning, animals, flowers and fruit on soft organic fabrics, along with soft faux fur and exquisite fabrics. The iglo+indi AW18 collection is designed in Iceland and made in Portugal. The main collection is entirely organic and made with certified organic cotton.
