Family holiday destinations this spring

Spring is a great time of year for going on a trip with the whole family – the new flowers are blooming, there are baby lambs frolicking in the fields and the weather is starting to get brighter. If you’re planning a spring break, here are some of the best destinations across the UK.

Devon

With popular family resorts like Torquay, Woolacombe and Combe Martin, Devon is a great option for a family friendly holiday. You have countryside, coast and a host of fun attractions like theme parks and zoos to visit.

Yorkshire

Yes, it is a bit of a trek but as England’s largest county, you have lots of choice. You could have a city break in York or Leeds or head to the countryside and enjoy watching the baby lambs and flowers start to re-emerge.

Cornwall

Known for its beautiful beaches, Cornwall is a great choice for a beach holiday. There are also some lovely heritage attractions in the county if you wanted to keep the kids learning while you’re away.

Wales

There are beaches in the Pembrokeshire region which are lovely at any time of year, there is the vibrant city of Cardiff with its numerous attractions and National Parks like Snowden. You can also keep discovering while you’re here as there are a large number of Roman ruins and castles to be explored here.
