WELCOME We were overwhelmed with the support for this event last year, with revellers celebrating the town’s musical talent in glorious sunshine. Everyone involved hopes that the weather will be just as generous with us this year! We are also delighted that many of our local pubs in the High Street have programmed complementary activities and live music in the evening after the outdoor stages have finished. Welcome to M-Fest – now in its third year and growing to be Midsomer Norton’s premier live music festival – celebrating local talent as part of the town’s traditional July celebrations! Once again we have two outdoor stages - the Main Stage in the lower Higher Street and a DJ Stage in the Hollies Garden - and both are packed with a range of fantastic local talent covering the best of rock, pop, reggae, ska and more!
Thank you to our supporters and sponsors, whose logos you will see around the event throughout the afternoon, especially to Midsomer Norton Town Council whose core grant funding makes M-Fest possible. We hope you have a great day.
All details in this programme were correct in May when we went to print - however things may change! Please check www.midsomernortoncommunitytrust.co.uk/mfest or www.facebook.com/ MFestMSN or ask one of our marshals on the day for updated timings and listings as well as news on some of our sponsors.

The Publicans are a 5-piece band featuring mandolin, piano, acoustic guitars, vocals, bass and percussion, whose sound is an upbeat blend of Celtic and English folk with a touch of Indie thrown in. The songs are a collection of true and outrageously untrue stories inspired the trials and tribulations of life in the UK over the last few decades.
The SHUKS Bath-based lo-fi four piece The Shuks bring their unique combination of raw energy with ethereal atmospherics to M-Fest for the first time. The band are quickly making a name for themselves in the South West, who cite Pixies, The Smashing Pumpkins and Suede as influences.
STACK UP SOUND SYSTEM Hailing from Brixton South London Stack Up Sound System's Ali Sykes & Flaxman bring there hand built speakers down to The Hollies MSN. Spinning vinyl all day in a true carnival style alongside a host of Midsomer Norton's finest DJs & Selectors. Check the latest set times online at www. midsomernortoncommunitytrust.co.uk/mfest

OUR PARTNERS ROTARY – MIDSOMER NORTON & RADSTOCK The aim of the Midsomer Norton Community Trust, founded in 2013, is to encourage community in Midsomer Norton. The cinema benefits from our investment in top of the range HD projection and 8.1 surround sound facilities at the Town Hall. With the comfy seating and a fully licensed bar selling popcorn and ice cream we offer the full cinema experience. Throughout the year we run a Live Music Arts Programme with monthly concerts and favourites such as the Paradis Trio on the first Friday of the month at the Town Hall and the ‘First Thursday’ event at Welton Rovers. We organise the Midsomer Arts Fest, Midsomer Norton Fayre and the new M-Fest live music event bringing the whole community together at the heart of Midsomer Norton. We have recently launched our own Men's Sheds Project which not only provides a working space for people to socialise but also do their own and community benefit projects. The M-Fest team would like to extend a thanks to Lucy and her former team at The Wunderbar. Lucy stepped down after last year’s event to move onto pastures new but her hard work was vital in establishing M-Fest and keeping the town’s proud live music heritage alive.
