COMMUNITY CINEMA RETURNS
The Community Cinema finally returns this month after an 18-month hiatus!
Tickets are still just £5 for adults, £3 for children and £12 for families (2 adults, 1 or 2 children). These screenings will again take advantage of the HD big screen set up and Surround Sound System, with refreshments ranging from popcorn and ice cream to drinks from the fully licenced Sarah Ann Bar.
After such a long break – and with new releases relatively scarce after the lockdowns, we are initially bringing the cinema back for one weekend a month, with a return to two weekends a month in the new year.
The next film weekend will be held on Fri 19th and Sat 20th November with screenings of The Addams Family 2 and No Time To Die. Then there will be screenings on 10th and 11th December with the films set to be announced very soon.
Wherever possible, the Community Trust ask that advanced bookings are made online – these can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.midsomernortoncommunitytrust.co.uk/ cinema or www.ticketsource.co.uk/mnct
No Time To Die Friday 19th and Saturday 20th November, 7.30pm

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend, Felix Leiter from the CIA, turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
The Addams Family 2 Saturday 20th November, 2.30pm
Everyone’s favorite spooky family is back in the animated comedy sequel, The Addams Family 2. In this all new movie, we find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with “scream time.” To reclaim their bond, they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, It, as well as many new kooky characters. What could possibly go wrong?
