After 4 months of silence, the Victoria Hall is once again alive. Sue Hill Dance runs various veins of its business from its Radstock base and it’s not unusual for passers-by to see a flurry of little people in their signature blue uniform or be treated to some choral singing from the resident college students. Established in 1982, the Susan Hill School of Dancing started in the Victoria Hall offering classes to young dancers from the area in Ballet, Tap, and in those days, Disco Dance. Over the years, the school has continued to grow and the school currently teaches over 400 local children and adults offering 57 recreational dance classes per week. Whilst Disco Dancing is no longer on the menu, it has been

rebeccasflowershop rebeccasofradstock 3 Fortescue Road, Radstock replaced by the modern-day genres of Street Hip Hop, Commercial Jazz, and Contemporary Dance alongside classical favorites in Ballet and Tap. Sue Hill Dance also runs its full-time vocational course (BDC Theatre College) from the Victoria Hall in Radstock with talented 16-19-year-old students choosing to move to Radstock from across the country to train at a higher level, with even international students from Greece, Germany, and Ireland. Anyone interested in learning how to dance, whatever age or ability is welcome at the Victoria Hall and there is a Covid secure, socially distanced class waiting for you!
