Christmas Lights switch on returns for its eleventh year

This annual event has become a staple in the Christmas calendar for the people of Westfield and this year will return with all the excitement and merriment of previous years.

As people gather around the Christmas tree on the corner of Wells Road and Elm Tree Avenue, you will hear the Silver Band playing Christmas carols, smell the (free) hot chocolate and mulled wine and see excited children lining up to receive their (free) gift from Father Christmas.

This year we will be joined by Westfield Voices and Westfield Primary School Choir who will lead the carol singing. Rev Ian Rousell will give a short speech before the Chair of Westfield Parish Council is joined by our special guests to switch on the Christmas lights.
