"Having worked alongside UKLC for many years, I am happy to say that this organisation has my complete trust. The educational programmes they offer are of a high-quality standard and they always try to accommodate the needs of each group of students. In particular, their residential summer courses for young learners have a great mix of nationalities and an excellent programme of extra-curricular activities and excursions. Furthermore, in the past UKLC staff have been very welcoming and always willing to help our students and group leaders." Schola, Spain

We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with partner agencies. We understand that agents need high quality partners in the UK in order to gain satisfied clients who will generate word of mouth marketing on their return home. Our relationship is built on trust. We work with your group leaders to ensure that the safety of your students is the priority throughout all of our centres. We understand that the success of our business is inseparable from the success of the agents we work with. We will work with you to create attractive marketing material to sell our courses. We help with the details of getting groups to our schools; supporting you during the visa application process and finding the most cost-effective transfers from each airport. We launched programmes from Reaseheath College in 2015. It has been a very successful centre with hundreds of students providing strong feedback in the first year. This year we are improving our programmes across all centres by increasing the range of English Plus on offer and including them as part of the standard package. This follows partners’ requests for added value for their customers in what has been a challenging year. We have also added a number of programmes at King’s College London. It is a world class university in an unbeatable location and our premium courses there will be very popular. We hope to work with our partners for a successful 2016.

Directors, UKLC

We also offer residence-based options on the outskirts of London. These can include British children working with EFL students during International Days of Learning (IDOL). Students aged between 11 and 17 who are enrolled on Multi activity or English Plus courses will be divided by age for activities where numbers allow and it is beneficial to do so. Students aged between 15 and 17 can in some centres choose whether to enrol on the Multi Activity or English Plus course or follow age specific Intensive English course. 6

Extras › Airport transfers › Optional extra excursions, e.g. London or Alton Towers Theme Park › Optional extra activities, e.g watersports › Optional evening activities off site, e.g. bowling, ice-skating or theatre › Optional specialist activity tuition, e.g. football, dance, drama or tennis › Optional Trinity College examinations Tuition We know how important it is for each individual student to find their own path in language learning. For this reason, we use a wide range of methods to engage our students effectively and stimulate their motivation. Our academic programme is called You Can Learn 4, or as we like to call it UKL4, and it comprises four specific programmes tailored for all of our students; • UKL4 FUN (Ages 8-10): Highly communicative lessons that offer a wide range of tailored material and activities. It makes games into lessons and lessons into games. • UKL4 CONNECTION (Ages 11-14): Very interactive lessons using a variety of methods and media to encourage students to establish a connection, not only with their peers, but also with the English language and British culture. • UKL4 ACTION (Ages 15-17): Interactive multimedia lessons that, using authentic materials, encourage students to activate their knowledge of English and motivate them to communicate through action. • UKL4 MASTERS (Ages 15-17): A programme that aims to empower our students by thoroughly working on all language systems (grammar, phonology, lexis, discourse) as well as to prepare them to take exams in English (PET, FCE, TOEFL, IELTS).

Placement Tests We offer classes at four levels from Elementary to Upper Intermediate. Students are given a placement test on their first day of classes to ensure they are placed at the correct level. Examinations We offer the option of taking Trinity College Spoken English (GCSE) exams on-site for courses of 10 days or longer. Sports and activities We provide a wide mix of exciting sports and activities up to 4 afternoons a week, both indoors and outdoors, including football, tennis, swimming, art, drama, dance, indoor climbing, golf, volleyball, waterpolo and much more. The av ailable activities will depend on the facilities at each centre. Our sports and activities sessions are usually three hours in length, normally include three sports and are run on-site. Our sports and activity staff have experience in coaching and holding coaching qualifications. All sessions are carefully planned, and designed to be both educational and enjoyable. 7

Reaseheath College, nr. Chester

Reaseheath College is an extraordinarily unique site set in 330 hectares of beautiful Cheshire countryside situated in the picturesque town of Nantwich. Nantwich itself dates back to the Roman era and has the largest collection of historic buildings in the county outside of Chester. In 2010 Queen Elizabeth II visited Reaseheath College to open two new world-class buildings on campus, despite Reaseheath’s recent renovation it still has a fantastic contemporary mix of modern buildings alongside historic structures. With a farm and a zoo on site, you will struggle to find a site so packed full of engaging activities.

Manchester, Chetham’s School

This city centre school is the largest specialist music school in the UK and is famous for being home to the oldest lending library in the world - Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels used to meet there often! The site offers a mix of modern facilities and accommodation set against a back drop of medieval architecture. Its position in the middle of the vibrant city of Manchester means that students have the opportunity to explore a wealth of attractions on their doorstep. Chetham's School of Music is to be found nestling between the Cathedral and opposite the Printworks with the popular Hard Rock Cafe. Famous for its industry, Manchester has been modernised over the past 20 years and has become one of Britain’s most important commercial and financial centres. It has a thriving cultural life, catering to its huge student population and Chetham’s often hosts events during the biannual Manchester International Festival in July.
