The Southern areal of technology FOWF-CAFS floating offshore wind farm with constant air flow speed FOWF-CAFS (floating offshore wind farm with constant air flow speed) technology is designed to improve the competitiveness of wind power. Changing the input and output cross-section enables operation of wind turbine at constant power over a wide range of wind speed ( from 3 to 70 m / s). This allows approximately in 3.4 times increase in annual production of wind turbines . The use of a toroidal pontoon allows us in hundreds times to increase area of the seas and oceans which occupied by wind farms. To transmit energy can be used hydrogen (DC generators - electrolyzers), liquid nitrogen (cryogenic plant - Dewar vessels) , and in some cases to use a underwater cable.
