‫«کپک چیست؟ چرا و چگونه ایجاد می‌شود؟‬ ‫عوامــل قارچ ـ ِی فســا ِد مــواد غذایــی بــه عوامــل کپکــی و مخمــری تقســیم می‌ش ـوند‪ .‬کپک‌هــا از‬ ‫آن دســته از قارچ‌هــا هســتند کــه غالبـاً بیمــاریِ خطرناکــی ایجــاد نمی‌کننــد‪ ،‬امــا گاهــی در شــرایط‬ ‫ضعــف سیســتم ایمنــی بــد ْن بســیار حطرناکنــد‪ .‬کپک‌هــا در صــورتِ مســاعدبودن شــرایط‪ ،‬بــه ســرعت‬ ‫رشــد می‌کننــد و ســبب تخریــب مــواد خوراکــی می‌شــوند‪ .‬از آن‌جــا کــه ایــن ســم بــه عمــق‬ ‫مــواد غذایــی نفــوذ می‌کنــد و باعــث آلودگــی گســترده‌ی آن می‌شــود‪ ،‬نمی‌تــوان توصیــه کــرد‬ ‫قســمت کپـک‌زده‌ی غــذا را جــدا و باقــی آن‌ را اســتفاده کنیــد‪ .‬بــرای امنیــت و ســامت بیشــتر‪ ،‬بهتــر‬ ‫اســت آن را بــه کل دور بریزیــد‪».‬‬ ‫عکس‌هــای مریــم زندپــور‪ ،‬نماهایــی بســته و نزدیــک‪ ،‬بســیار نزدیــک‪ ،‬از کپــک‪ ،‬از آن «الی ـه‌ی آبــی‬ ‫‌غایــت انســانی‪ ،‬نــگاه مــا را بــه تمیــز و‬ ‫غمگین»‌انــد‪ .‬هنرمنــد به‌ســا ِن تجربــه‌ای مشــترک و به‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫تماشــای کپک‌هــا جلــب می‌کنــد‪ .‬کپک‌هــا را در قاب‌هایــی بزرگ‌نمایی‌شــده مقابــل چشــمان‬ ‫مــا می‌گــذارد‪ .‬درســت در لحظــه‌ای کــه مســحور زیبایــی و تناســب رنگ‌هــا و فرم‌هــا می‌شــویم‪،‬‬ ‫ـزی دارد می‌پوســد و تباهــی آغــاز می‌شــود‪.‬‬ ‫ـی چیـ ْ‬ ‫در همــان قــاب‪ ،‬در همــان نمــا‪ ،‬جایـ ْ‬ ‫تجربــه‌ی تماشــای عکس‌هــای مریــم زندپــور‪ ،‬نــگاه نزدیــک دوربیــن او بــه سرچشــمه‌ی فســاد‪ ،‬و‬ ‫ثبــتِ زیبایی‌شناس ـانه‌ی آن‌چــه در حــا ِل پوســیدن و فروریختــن اســت‪ ،‬مــا را بــه فکــر فــرو م ‌یبــرد‪.‬‬ ‫«همــواره بــه یــاد داشــته باشــید اگــر فقــط ســطح کپـک‌زده را جــدا کنیــد‪ ،‬ممکــن اســت آلودگــی‬ ‫در عمــق الیه‌هــا باقــی مانــده باشــد و فســادی عمیق‌تــر و گســترده‌تر را موجــب شــود‪».‬‬ ‫?‪What is mold? How and why does it form‬‬ ‫‪Fungal agents of decay in food products are divided into mold and yeasts. Mold are‬‬ ‫‪among the type of fungi that do not pose a serious health hazard in humans unless‬‬ ‫‪encountered by a weak immune system.‬‬ ‫‪Molds, when in proper conditions, can grow rapidly and cause decay in food‬‬ ‫‪products. Due to the fact that they infiltrate the product deeply and at a fast rate,‬‬ ‫‪it's not recommended to just remove the affected part of the product but to discard‬‬ ‫‪of it completely.‬‬ ‫‪Maryam Zandpur’s photos are real close, close-ups of mold, of that ‘Gloomy Blue‬‬ ‫‪Layer’. The artist, in a collective human experience directs our gaze towards‬‬ ‫‪watching and differentiating the molds by presenting them to the audience in her‬‬ ‫‪macro-graphic frames. In that exact moment when we are enchanted by the beauty‬‬ ‫‪and harmony in the colors and forms, in the exact same frame and exact same view‬‬ ‫‪something is rotting and the decadence is setting in.‬‬ ‫‪Experiencing Maryam Zandpur’s work and her camera’s close look at the root of‬‬ ‫‪decay, the aesthetic preservation of what is rotting and decaying would have us‬‬ ‫‪contemplating.‬‬ ‫‪“keep in mind that by just removing surface layer affected by mold, the risk of‬‬ ‫‪contamination in deeper layers which might cause expansive and extensive decay,‬‬ ‫”‪still remains.‬‬

‫گاهــی هیچ‌چیــز جلــودارت نیســت‪ .‬حتــی اگــر بدانــی آدمــی را‬ ‫کــه بی‌تابانــه می‌خواهــی‌ش هیچ‌وقــت نخواهــی داشــت‪ ،‬یکــی‬ ‫کــه شــاید هیچ‌وقــت در زندگ ـی‌ات اتفــاق نیفتــد‪ ،‬امــا هم‌چنــان‬ ‫تــاش می‌کنــی بــرای نگاه‌داشــتن‌اش‪ .‬و درســت همــان لحظــه‬ ‫اســت کــه چیــزی درونــت شــروع می‌کنــد بــه رشــد کــردن‪،‬‬ ‫چیــزی نامرئــی امــا جانــدار‪ ،‬کــه از زیاده‌خواهی‌‌هامــان سرچشــمه‬ ‫می‌گیــرد‪ .‬و خــب‪ ،‬زمانــی می‌رســد کــه آن موجــود نامرئــی‬ ‫بــزرگ می‌شــود و بــزرگ می‌شــود و رایحــه‌ی نامطبوعــش تمــام‬ ‫جانــت را پــر می‌کنــد‪ ،‬زمانــی می‌رســد کــه دیگــر جداکردنــش‬ ‫چیــزی را تغییــر نخواهــد داد‪ .‬این‌جــا دیگــر بایــد تــن بدهــی‪،‬‬ ‫تــن بدهــی بــه حــذف کــرد ِن آن‌چــه روزی حریصانــه از آ ِن خــود‬ ‫کرده‌بــودی‌اش‪.‬‬ ‫بــه گمانــم‪ ،‬همه‌ی مــا در یــک تجربــه مشــترکیم؛ تجربه‌ی کپـک‌زدن‪،‬‬ ‫تجربـه‌ی نشســت ِن آن الیـه‌ی آبـ ِی غمگیـ ْن روی همه‌چیز‪.‬‬ ‫«مریم زندپور»‬ ‫‪Sometimes nothing can stop you. Even knowing the fact that the person‬‬ ‫‪you restlessly desire will never be be yours , that they will never become‬‬ ‫‪a part of your life, will not deter you from trying to keep them. At that exact‬‬ ‫‪moment something begins to grow inside of you, something invisible yet‬‬ ‫‪living, rooted in our greed. Ands well, the time will come that the invisible‬‬ ‫‪creature grows and grows and its unsavory scent fills your soul. The time‬‬ ‫‪will come that solely detaching your self from that creature will not change a‬‬ ‫‪thing. That is when you need to give in, give in to the act of removing what‬‬ ‫‪you have eagerly made yours once.‬‬ ‫‪I guess, we all share this same experience; of mold, of that gloomy blue‬‬ ‫”‪layer growing of everything.‬‬ ‫‪Maryam Zandpur‬‬
