Girl Scouts Take Action to Educate Community

Troop 46117, a group of second-year brownie girl scouts from Issaquah Highlands, recently partnered with the City of Issaquah to learn about the Climate Action Challenge. The challenge is designed to help residents reduce greenhouse gas emissions and their environmental impact by making small changes at home. The local troop also completed the Girl Scout Climate Challenge to spread awareness about climate change. Here are some of their takeaways:
HIGHLANDS household activities. Last year, the Issaquah Climate Action Challenge was launched as a fun and easy way to reduce your environmental impact.
The challenge provides a platform for community members to commit to taking different actions to reduce their impact, while also offering resources on available rebates and incentives.
