IHG DEAD SEA HOTELS LAUNCHED IHG ACADEMY Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa launched the IHG Academy, a training academy to address the challenges faced by local communities within Jordan Valley area in finding employment in the hospitality industry. The IHG Dead Sea Hotels in partnership with USAID, launched the academy during a ceremony held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma bint Talal. The Trainees will undergo food and beverage service, food production and housekeeping department training. Each trainee will then select one path of their career and will be employed at one of the IHG Dead Sea Hotels upon completing their year of training.

ROYAL JORDANIAN AGREEMENT InterContinental Hotels Group, IHG Jordan has signed a partnership agreement with Royal Jordanian. Under this agreement RJ’s frequent flyers and Royal Plus members can get an opportunity earn free miles against the money they spent at the IHG Hotels. According to the agreement the RJ’s Royal Plus members will earn three miles upon spending their each dinar at IHG Hotels. The miles will be accumulated only when RJ’s frequent flyers shown their Royal Plus cards at the reception after check-in the hotel and ordering any of these IHG’s restaurants and cafés or at the fitness centers and other facilities provided by the IHG hotels in Jordan.
