CROWNE PLAZA JORDAN DEAD SEA RESORT & SPA EXPANDS AND RENOVATES FACILITIES Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa - a subsidiary of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) - has recently conducted expansion and renovation works across most of its facilities, including the meeting halls, restaurants and swimming pools, among others. This step underscores Crowne Plaza’s ongoing efforts to provide guests with a unique, luxury experience that corresponds with its commitment to delivering premium hotel services. Further building on its array of indoor and outdoor venues used for business meetings, conferences and entertainment functions, Crowne Plaza added four meeting halls at the Lobby Level. These comprise Dana Room, Shuaib Room, Mujib Room and Feynan Room, all of which are equipped with the latest technologies, screens and LCD projectors. In order to boost service levels at its food and beverage outlets, Crowne Plaza expanded the kitchen of its renowned Lebanese restaurant, Burj Al Hamam, by 50 square meters. It also enhanced the seating capacity of Ambrosia Restaurant by 100 seats to better accommodate the increasing number of guests on weekends and holidays. Furthermore, Crowne Plaza installed heaters for the main swimming pool - which is the largest at the Dead Sea - as well as for the El Grito swimming pool. New bathrooms were also added at the beach and Promenade areas, and safe water slides for children were set up. “The upgrades that were carried out are closely aligned with our efforts to accommodate the rising number of local guests, foreign tourists and business people who are looking to book hotel stays for either work, leisure or vacations, within a distinctive yet comfortable atmosphere. As such, we renovated and expanded our existing facilities to better cater to their needs and enhance their hotel experience. We also seek to support both internal and external tourism in the Kingdom through the provision of premium hotel facilities that are on par with top global standards,” commented Firas Irsheidat, Area General Manager of Dead Sea Resorts and General Manger of Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa.
