Applications are now being accepted for the TU Dublin - UCD Professional Diploma in Transversal Skills beginning 20th September 2021 and running until 10th December 2021. The steps to apply for the full course or individual modules as short courses are below. Please note that applications will be processed on an ongoing basis until the courses begin or are full. Each module on the course is also being offered as a stand alone short course. 1.Creativity and Innovation (UCD | 5 ECTS) - 20th-24th September (Register by 3rd September). Learn more about this short course. 3.Design Thinking for Innovation (UCD | 5 ECTS) - 18th-22nd October (Register by 1st October). Shannon College of Hotel Management is delighted to announce that the following governmentfunded programmes will be available under Springboard+ 2021 & HEA Funded Modules. These programmes 90% - 100% funded for eligible candidates . These short term courses offer excellent opportunities to upskill in many different areas of hospitality and business. Springboard + Courses available at Shannon College of Hotel Management Springboard+ is a Government initiative that aims to reskill or upskill people in areas where job opportunities are growing in Ireland by providing free or heavily subsidised places on selected higher education courses. For all eligible applicants, the programmes will be free or 90% funded. Certificate in Finance for Non-Finance Managers (Start Date 13th September 2021) Certificate in Hospitality Guest Experience (Start Date 13th September 2021) Certificate in Applied Digital Skills (Start Date 10th January 2022) Delivery : All Springboard + Programmes will be delivered online. All applications can be made through the Springboard+ Website. HEA Funded Modules offered at Shannon College of Hotel Management : This September Shannon College has two Level 9 Modules available under the Governments July Stimulus. The courses are available to eligible candidates for Free or on a 90% funded basis. Completion of these modules may lead to exemptions toward progression onto the MSc in Business & Hospitality if you decide to enrol at a later date. Strategy and Innovation for Hospitality Delivery: This module will be delivered online. Performance & Revenue Management Delivery: This module will be delivered on campus but will be accessible online via recordings for those who cannot attend in person. Munster Technological University (Cork Campus) in association with the Higher Education Authority and supported by the Government of Ireland are pleased to offer the following modular courses to eligible candidates as part of the additional July Stimulus Modular Funding: The following 5 ECTS credit modules are available: ·Exploring Wines & Spirits ·Professional Bar Operations ·Food Photography ·Revenue Management Places are limited. Depending on eligibility the course is either free, or you only pay 10% of the course fee. All modules are 12 weeks in length, run on one evening per week, over 3 hours. Modules may be online or in a blended learning format. All courses commence in September 2021, with completion in December 2021.
