The Louisiana Department of Insurance

Risk Management, Inc. (RMI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Louisiana Municipal Association (LMA) serves as service agent of the sponsored interlocal risk pools for Public Liability, Workers Compensation, Accident and Health, and Reinsurance trust. RMI seeks a qualified individual with insurance experience for the job of General Manager, who is responsible for all activities of RMI.

Serving under the direction of the RMI board of directors, the general manager, with the assistance of departmental management, is responsible for the development, revision and implementation of administrative processes, rules and procedures to assure effectiveness and efficiency of marketing, underwriting, claims administration, public relations, billing/collection, and training for municipalities eligible to participate in the various risk pools sponsored by the LMA.
