The IIABL & IIAM staff is ready, willing and able to assist you. Conference registration and program information is available at the Registration Center. If you have any questions, need information or assistance, contact our staff at the Registration Center.
Each and every person attending the conference must be registered. Conference attendees are issued badges which are to be worn in order to be admitted to all conference activities. Lost or damaged badges can be replaced at the Registration Center. Individual registrations for separate conference functions are not available. Some conference functions require tickets for drinks. Tickets are included in your badge. Please make sure to bring your tickets to each function. Lost or damaged tickets can be replaced at the Registration Center.
Conference certificates will be mailed 2-4 weeks after the conference. CE credit will not be provided to attendees who do not attend the entire seminar and/or fail to complete the electronic CE form at the end of each individual CE session.
The general session on Aug. 19 is approved for 3 hours of CE on general insurance principals.
The general session on Aug. 20 is approved for 3 hours of Ethics CE & qualifies for the 10% RMC Credit for Westport & Allianz E&O Products.

Megan has over 9 years of reinsurance experience and began her career in the casualty lines of reinsurance She now specializes in property catastrophe placements for residual markets and regional property reinsurance placements
Megan’s client base includes residual markets, coastal and non coastal Farm Bureau companies, a national E&S company and a Southeast focused regional insurer. Megan is adept at all aspects of the reinsurance placement process but specifically focuses on large placement capacity/solutions, developing alternative capacity/solutions, and the analytics associated to support her clients’ beyond their reinsurance placements
In addition to her client specific responsibilities, Megan leads Guy Carpenter’s Residual Market Practice that identifies, analyzes, and addresses the trends and activities of residual markets. She is also responsible for the coordination of Guy Carpenter Atlanta’s new business development efforts
Megan was a Suma Cum Laude Graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Business with Finance and Math concentrations She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Risk Management Enterprise (ARM E) and Associate in Data Analytics (AIDA) designations.
Rhonda is an Assistant Vice President and Region Director for Safeco Insurance, where she leads a team of sales professionals across the states of Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma to deliver Safeco Personal Lines products to over 1,100 Independent Agents. Rhonda’s entire career has been in the Independent Agency Channel, which began 28 years ago working in a large Independent Agency while earning her degree from Texas A&M University She has a strong passion and belief in the Independent Agency Channel and is focused on her company’s primary goal to be #1 in the IA Channel. She knows that this goal is not possible without the partnership from the amazing IA agencies she and her team partner with across her three state territory.

Tammy Culmone is an Executive Vice President, Regional Underwriting Leader of the Gulf Region She also leads the Louisiana offices Tammy joined AmWINS in 2013 by way of the acquisition of Gresham & Associates. She began her career with Gresham & Associates in 2005 as a commercial lines underwriter. In 2011 Tammy was named Assistant Vice President. Then in 2012 she was named Branch Leader and Vice President of the Gresham & Associates Baton Rouge location Tammy began her insurance career as a premium accounting clerk for a life & health insurance company Through the years she worked various insurance related positions learning different aspects of the business. Tammy worked 8 years for State Farm Insurance as a sales associate and office manager. In 2001 she joined AIG as a personal lines underwriter and in 2003 moved to the commercial department as a property & casualty underwriter
Blaise D’Antoni is an Executive Vice President at Burns & Wilcox, where he oversees the growth and operations of the South Region, with offices that extend from Texas to the Carolinas. With more than two decades of experience at the company, Blaise is instrumental in strategically building expertise in the offices he supports and offering direction for best practices and management driven initiatives
Blaise D'Antoni Executive Vice President Burns & WilcoxHe is known for leading the New Orleans office through significant natural catastrophes, such as Hurricane Katrina, and providing brokers and agents commercial and personal wholesale surplus lines expertise after the standard admitted markets pulled out of the region He is also known for securing exclusive contracts for the Natural Catastrophe and Property markets in Louisiana, which have been critical in the company’s long term production for both Commercial and Personal Insurance.
James L. Oertling Account Executive & Officer TravelersOertling has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Georgia with a double major in Risk Management Insurance and Management Information Systems He also received his MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans He spent his first six and half years in the insurance industry working at Marsh with another two years at a local independent agent He has spent the past 11 years as underwriter in the Travelers Private and Non Profit Management Liability Group Recently, he finished a three year term as President of the Board of Governors at Magnolia Community Services, a non profit that provides support to adults with developmental disabilities Oertling currently resides in New Orleans with his wife and three daughters
