Nick Luzietti, FIIDA, AIA | Design Principal | VOA | Chicago, IL Nick Luzietti has played in the architecture and interior design sandbox since 1968, with the last 20 years at VOA Associates Inc. He adores working with clients and teams to achieve the very best design. As Design Principal, he guides the projects from inception to completion. His work is often affectionately inspired by food, family, film, art, and music. Mr. Luzietti views his role as a teacher and has been a visiting artist at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. A visionary with a strong design strategy, concepts are tested and expanded upon. Outside influences are used to create a metaphor which evolves into the spirit of the space being created.

She has been practicing interior design for the past twenty five years, with a focus on the design of spaces for education, children, healthcare, fitness and commercial office interiors.

She has significant experience in designing for the both the private and public sector. Considered an expert on workplace programming and planning, Carol speaks and writes on this topic both nationally and internationally, and projects under her leadership have been widely published and have received numerous awards.

Migette L. Kaup, PhD, IIDA, IDEC Dr. Kaup is an Associate Professor at Kansas State University and an Interior Designer specializing in gerontological and universal design. She earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning. Her dissertation, titled "Patterns of Culture Change Households: A Graphic Ethnography of Organizational and Environmental Fit," combines her major area of study in aging and environment relationships with her minor area, long-term care policy structures, to investigate progressive changes occurring in nursing homes. Her educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and Masters of Architecture in Environment & Behavior and Place Studies with an emphasis in Gerontology from Kansas State University.
Jill Pable, Ph.D., FIDEC, ASID Dr. Pable is a professor of Interior Design at Florida State University and holds B.S. and M.F.A. degrees in Interior Design and a Ph.D. degree in Instructional Technology with specialization in architecture. She served as national president of the Interior Design Educators Council in 2009. She is the author of Sketching Interiors at the Speed of Thought and co-author of Interior Design: Practical Strategies for Teaching and Learning with Katherine Ankerson. Her research focuses on the design of environments for the underprivileged and she believes that design can make life more interesting, fulfilling and humane.
Jennifer Webb, Ph.D. Dr. Jennifer Webb is a registered interior designer and associate professor of interior design at the University of Arkansas. She holds a doctorate in interior design and has passed both the NCIDQ and the LEED AP Commercial Interiors examinations. Additionally, she holds a Gerontology Certificate and completed an internship in an Alzheimer’s care facility. The combination of professional and academic experience is unique in the interior design field.
