g Fantacy Rapa Nui. Description: ‘Rapa Nui’ is the Polynesian aboriginal name of Easter Island. This comic tells a story about my illusion of the origin of the Easter Island stone statue ‘Moai’ based on documentaries, but also incorporates a reflection on world cultures and religion believes. As Moai was the symbol of the power of the primitive tribes on the island, I fabricated a mythical narrative for them to emphasis the awe of its ancestors.
