fThe Moon & Sixpence.This is an ongoing project done in homage to the painter Paul Gauguin and the novel The Moon and Sixpence by W. Somerset, whose story was inspired by Gauguin. Gauguin treated art as a meditative approach to find the meaning of life and a primitive ideal. His artistic style reflects his attempt to describe raw and untamed nature of life itself. This is my take on re-interpreting his style of the primitive arts in Africa and Asia.
