Within my research label Hilarie Minu I converted old and shabby blankets into coats with the purpose of researching a way of recycling/upcycling discarded or unused textiles.
The coats are made very quickly and simply with only one stitch on the back that creates the beautiful draperies. Even though the method of making is the same, both coats are different given the different composition of the materials.
