Hi! I’m a versatile Product designer, passionate about graphics, apps, gamification, UI, UE, and many other things. My strenghts are: the problem setting phase, case studies research and scenario creation, attention to users’needs, prototyping in different materials, presentation and storytelling. I love working within multidiciplinary teams and I support my team members with good organizational skills, commitment and hard work. I am particularly interested in designing experiences and my Master’s Thesis investigates how objects have the power to create relationships between people.

simnia Group Work
with Silvia Stocco
Simnia is a pendant lamp made by laser cutting a sheet of satinated PMMA. The name Simnia comes from a seashell that can be found in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Galapagos Islands and from California to Peru.
Simnia is inspired from the changing flames and the spiraling sinuous seashells.
The lamp is easily assembled and is designed for a standard E27 lightbulb adaptor. Just place the pieces, following the numbers engraved on the circular ring.
Simnia is an asymmetrical lamp, different from all angles, that creates a soft and diffused ambient light. Photos of the cardboard study-model, 1:1 scale.
Simnia has been presented during Fuorisalone di Milano 2014, Tortona Around Design.

YAMA’s law Group Work
with Sara De Donno Irene Nappi Laura Pesenti Zeno Pillan
La legge di Yama (Yama’s Law) is a boardgame, inspired by Tibetan art and the concepts of Karma and Reincarnation. The game experience is is directly related to the reading of the proverb: “What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”
““Challenge Yama’s Law! Reincarnate into animals, live and fight to achieve enlightenment“ Every player must reincarnate into an animal, move in the Tibetan Mandalainspired board, and gather the Elements that will bring him to enlightment.
Every player starts the game with a fixed amount of negative Karma, represented by the beads of the necklace, which must be lost during the game. The player who lose more negative Karma is the winner. The necklace gesture is inspired by mālā, Buddhist rosaries.
Yama’s law has been presented and playtested during “Play” 2014, Modena’s game festival.
Inspirational moodboard made during the concept phase.
The 28 Reincarnation cards show 4 Animals for every Element: Fire, Light, Water, Air, Vibrations, Aether, Earth.

diffuse Group Work
with Carolina Ferrari Mengdi Xu
Diffuse is a Smart Laptop Light designed to reduce the visual stress caused by excessive contrast between the pc screen and a dark room. It performs two functions using Arduino: Eye Relief and Eye Pleasure. Diffuse was presented during Fuorisalone 2014, Zona S.Ambrogio and was featured in design blogs like Mocoloco. Its own website is http://diffuseyourlaptop.wix.com/diffuse
Eye Relief With a light sensor, Diffuse evaluates whether your environment’s light is appropriate for using the laptop screen at night. If not, it projects a white LED light with variable intensity on the soft felt diffuser.
Eye Pleasure Diffuse reads in real time the average color of the computer screen and sends the information to an RGB LED strip, thus becoming a portable Ambilight. In this way Diffuse creates a dynamic colorful environment that enhance your computer experience.
Diffuse is composed of two elements: a wooden box that contains the electronic components, and a soft felt diffuser, assembled together using two magnets.
The box is entirely made of walnut wood, laser cut, engraved, chamfered and assembled by hand. It contains two LED stripes (6 LEDs) with associated aluminium heat sinks, one Arduino Uno, a 12V rechargeable lithium battery, a Light Sensor.

kilh20 Group Work
with Carolina Ferrari
KilH2o is a 1liter/1Kg fitness bottle, suitable for light weight-training exercises. The bottle is inspired by the fact that many people use plastic bottles filled with water or sand in the absence of weight equipment. KilH2O has been presented during Bologna Water Design 2013.

Workshop Ghelfi Ondulati
svaso 1 Week Project
with Stefano Parisi Alessandro Pollio
Svaso is a fruit tray made during a oneweek workshop held in conjunction with Ghelfi Ondulati, manufacturer of cardboard packaging. With its cut corners, the structure is flexible if handled individually, but very stable and rigid once stacked. Svaso shape is simple but intriguing and very suitable to be branded.
Bachelor’s Thesis Project
go.sh.
Go.SH. is an utility bag fitted with a pocket designed to hold one book. GO.SH. is short for Go & Show: it is a bag that allows to expose the cover of the book you are reading. The concept begins with a reflection on the importance of sharing and publishing personal contents online, but moved on the physical plane, with the direct sharing of personal literary tastes. The argument stems from the final synthesis lab. called “The Pleasure of Reading.
GO.SH. consists of three components: the bag, the book pocket and a shoulder strap, which can be assembled in different ways. The bag converts from backpack to shoulder bag, closing the zipper present on the shoulder straps. The aesthetics of the product is closely related to the nautical world, and the pocket is made of recycled sail laminates.
The two prototypes have been made in collaboration with Fabio Vitali, sailmaker at Elvstrom Pyxis s.r.l., Zibido San Giacomo (MI).
The book pocket allows to always have on hand the novel you are reading. Particularly suitable on public transport and in the subway, for a short reading break.
