Living THE DREAM

From being an average student to completing my master’s and post-graduation diploma and aspiring to earn a Ph.D.; from posting pictures on Instagram just for fun to becoming an acknowledged influencer, I have come a long way.

No journey is complete without its ups and downs. As you start walking towards the unknown destination, discovering the routes on the way, following a path where you haven’t stepped upon ever, and learning from the tiniest mistakes, blogging is an exceptional experience!

Social Responsibility

Having a community of 110K people is an advantage and a responsibility too. The responsibility that I practice whatever I preach! The responsibility is that I am honest in my approach and not misguiding my followers only because the brand is paying me to say something, which I do not believe in myself.

Being an influencer or blogger is hardwork

For the people who have their accounts on Instagram, aiming to become a blogger or an influencer, periodic engagement is not only about a beautiful girl or a handsome man posing and smiling for a perfect picture; it's the hard-work that goes behind that 'beautiful picture' . Like every other profession, we have to 'outdo' ourselves. Each picture has to be better than the last one. We eat cold meals because we have to take several pictures of the hot meal to get the perfect one.

Like any other profession influencing resembles a vast ocean but what keeps you going is originality, content, creativity, and consistency.

An art of behind the scenes teamwork

Influencing is an art and teamwork of a photographer, content creator, makeup artist, stylist, dressmaker, hairstylist, and PR people, everyone has their contributions along with the blogger who is the only one in the front.

Each post takes time and effort before it reaches the Instagram page. I have two personal favorite photographers and my mom helps me in several ways. I try new makeup artists each time I go for the shoot.

My physique and their perception

Different people have different perceptions. I do come across designers who are disappointed to see the petite me. That’s how God made me and I never feel that’s a drawback. I take each stride with confidence and a lovely smile to flaunt the brightly shining ‘me’ .

Blogging Experience and Opportunities

I have had the opportunity to work with both big and small brands. I have worked with Red Tape, P.C. Jewelers, Crocs, Colors, Max Protein, Reliance, Shree, Jaipore, and The Face Shop to name a few. I have also worked with homegrown brands, who showered more love than big labels. One of the jewelry brands I worked with had my hoardings too. was wonderful working with each one of those brands. I have faith that in the future I would collaborate with more prestigious brands.

What’s in the Future

Future is God’s domain, karma is ours. I would, definitely, like to keep doing what I do with all my heart and soul.

It’s about the balance

A balance has to be made between organic and sponsored content. Without content one is nothing. We have our moments of despair but the show must go on. I lost my loved one during the lockdown and I felt lost but being a content creator I had my responsibility towards my audience. The community that I have built over the years needs to know what is happening in my life. They are part of my life and most of the privileges I enjoy being a blogger are because I have this community for which I am eternally grateful!
