Directions… Please see Map 1 for more information. From the North…Take I-57 to University Ave. (East). Turn right (South) onto Mattis Ave. Follow Mattis Ave. to Kirby Ave. Turn left (East) on Kirby Ave. and continue to football parking lots. Note: An alternate, less congested route is available by continuing South on Mattis to Windsor Rd. Turn left onto Windsor Rd. and continue East, then turn left on either First St., Fourth St., or Lincoln Ave. to reach football parking lots.
From the South…Take I-57 to the Curtis Road Exit. Turn right
(East) onto Curtis Rd. and follow it to route 45/Neil St. Turn left (North) onto route 45/Neil St. toward Champaign. Turn right onto Windsor Rd. and left onto either First St., Fourth St., or Lincoln Ave. to reach football parking lots.

Road Construction Updates…The MCORE project located in the heart of Campustown will expand mobility choices and increase user access along five core transit corridors in the University District. This project began in the Fall of 2016 and will be completed in the Winter of 2019. For updates on the project and how this may impact traffic patterns on game day please visit www.mcoreproject.com and www.fightingillini.com.
Street Closures…First St., between Kirby Ave. and Stadium
Dr., will be closed starting at 6:00 a.m. each game day for Fighting Illini Street Fest. Only patrons with a Lot 36 or 37 parking pass will be allowed to enter from the north on First St. prior to the game. After the game, First St. will become one way going north, between Kirby Ave. and Green St. Kirby Ave., between First St. and Fourth St., and Peabody Dr., between First St. and Fourth St., will also be closed starting at 6:00 a.m. each game day until the completion of the game. Street closure times may vary for the Friday night game. Please check fightingillini. com for more information.
Accessible Services… Entrances…Access to ADA seating in the Horseshoe is through
Gate 31 via Portal 6 on the east side of the stadium and through Gate 32 via Portal 1 on the west side of the stadium. Access to ADA seating in the North Stands is through Portal 3 on the northwest side of the stadium. Access to ADA seating in the west balcony is through Portal 1 or Portal 3.
Elevators…Accessible elevators for the West Balcony are
located in the Great West Hall near Gate 10 (North) and Gate 24 (South). Only the North elevator will be available for pregame use to the West Balcony. Postgame both the North and South elevators will be available for patrons.
Golf Cart Shuttle Services…are available to patrons that
need assistance between the parking lots and the stadium on game days. The shuttle service will begin two hours prior to kick-off and will run continuously up to 15 minutes before kick-off. Shuttle service will resume at the end of each game as soon as pedestrian traffic allows. Patrons who would like to utilize this service prior to kick-off should wait at one of the following locations: (See Map 2) East entrances of Lot 31 and Lot 33, Florida Ave. entrance of Lot 45, and on the corner of Oak St. and Hazelwood Dr. in Research Park. Shuttle service will also be provided to patrons parked in the handicapped parking spaces in the quadrants of the State Farm Center. Patrons parked in these spaces should remain by their vehicles and wait for the golf cart to approach them. The pre-game drop-off and post-game pick-up location at the stadium for the west side will be on Kirby Ave. near Portal 1 and for the east side will be on Kirby Ave. near Portal 6.
Hearing Assistance Devices…are designed to enhance
the public address announcements made in Memorial Stadium. These devices can be checked out on game day at the West and East Guest Service Centers.
Parking and ADA Shuttle Lot…A limited number of
accessible parking spaces, including van accessible spaces, are provided in the four quadrants of the State Farm Center. An ADA Shuttle Lot is also located in Research Park off of First St. An ADA accessible bus will provide transportation from this lot to the stadium prior to the game and after the game. The fee for all ADA parking is $20 unless you have an I FUND parking pass. A disabled license plate or handicap placard is required to park in these spaces. Use of a disabled plate or placard without presence of a disabled person in the vehicle is a violation of the State motor vehicle code.
Seating…is located in the South Horseshoe, North Stands, and
the West Balcony with chairs available for able body companions.
Emergencies… Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures…In the
event of an emergency, all Event Staff, Law Enforcement and Fire Personnel will assist guests in any necessary relocation or evacuation. Information will also be provided over the public address system.
Public address announcements…are not made under
most instances; however, please contact the Guest Service Centers if you need to contact someone in the event of an extraordinary circumstance. East Guest Service Center: 217-649-3231 (this number will only be active on game day). West Guest Service Center: 217-265-0200 (this number will only be active on game day).
Facility Information… Baby Changing Stations…are located in men’s and women’s restrooms in the Horseshoe and in the Great East and West Halls.
Concessions…stands are located throughout Memorial Stadium serving a wide variety of fan favorites including hot dogs, brats, nachos, French fries, BBQ and refreshing Coca-Cola products. All selling points in Memorial Stadium will accept credit cards.
Drinking Fountains…are located throughout Memorial Stadium.
Entrances…open one and one-half hours prior to the
scheduled kick-off time. Please see Map 3 for entrances and seating information.
Press Box…is utilized by working personnel and is accessible by
using the north elevator on the west side of the stadium. Working press may submit requests for credentials to the Athletic Media Relations Department at 217-333-1391.
Restrooms…are located throughout Memorial Stadium. Portable restrooms are located throughout the parking lots.
Smoking Policy…Smoking is prohibited on all campus property
at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, both indoors and outdoors, in university-owned vehicles and in privately-owned vehicles parked on campus property. This includes Memorial Stadium and the parking lots surrounding it.

Guest Service Centers…are located near Gate 15 on the east
side of the stadium and near the middle of the Great West Hall on the west side of the stadium.
Lost and Found…inquiries can be made at the East and West
Guest Service Centers. Once the booths have closed, inquiries can be directed to the Event Management Office, 1700 South Fourth Street, Champaign, IL 61820, by phone at 217-333-FIND, or by e-mail: athleticeventstaff@illinois.edu.
Merchandise…Fighting Illini merchandise is available for sale
inside of the Great East and West Halls and outside of the south horseshoe. Merchandise is also available outside the stadium in the Grange Grove tailgating lot on the west side prior, during and after each game.
Programs…are for sale at stands located in the Great East and West Halls.
Recycling…containers are located throughout Memorial Stadium and the surrounding parking lots.

Tailgate Concierge…We make tailgating easy! Reserve your full-service tailgate package now in Grange Grove by visiting www.tailgaterconcierge.com or calling 888-301-2190. Packages include tailgate equipment, food & beverage options, and all set-up and take-down.

First Aid Rooms…at Memorial Stadium are located under
section 105 on the east side, and in the southwest corner of the Great West Hall south of Gate 24.
IEMS (Illini Emergency Medical Services)…technicians
wearing red shirts are located in the East Main Stands, East Balcony, West Main Stands, and Horseshoe in vomitories marked with red railings. These vomitories are found in sections 101/102, 104/105 and 107/108 in the East Main Stands, 203/204 and 206/207 in the East Balcony, 113/114 and 118/119 in the Horseshoe and 124/125 and 129/130 in the West Main Stands. In the North Stands the technicians are located at the stairs to sections 132/133 and 136/137. IEMS technicians will also be available in the West Balcony.
Parking… Parking Lot Fees…Many lots are pass only lots. There are
some lots available for game day purchase. These lots are Lot 44, 46, 47, 49 and the lots in Research Park. Parking fees for these lots are $20 per automobile. Automobiles with pull behinds are allowed in Lots 47 and 49 for $40. Recreational vehicles/motor homes may park in Lot 33 for $40. Buses may park on Pennsylvania Avenue for $50. Please see Map 2 for more information.
Hours…Parking lots are open to patrons starting at 7:00 a.m.
and remain open until 10:00 p.m.* on game days. Parking lot opening times will vary for the Friday night game. Please visit fightingillini.com for more information. *NOTE: This excludes any night games that Illinois might have in which parking lots will close 1 hour after the completion of the game.
Overnight RV/Motorhome Parking…is available the night
before home games in Lot 33 starting at 6 p.m. Starting at 7 a.m. on game days RVs will either need to pay the $40 to stay in the lot, or relocate to their respective pass lot.
Priority Parking…is available to all I Fund members. For more information, please call 217-333-6595.
Prohibited Items…The following items or actions are not
allowed in parking lots: personal golf carts, open fires, weapons, fireworks, saving parking places, disorderly conduct, advertising banners or displays, picketing or political campaigning, solicitation, tethered blimps, balloons, and other oversized inflatables.
Shuttle Service…C-U MTD has a football game day “Tran-
Sport Route.” The route has numerous pick up points throughout campus. For more information call 217-384-8188 or go online at www.cumtd.com.
Premium Seating… Alcohol…Spectra is solely responsible for the sale and services of all alcoholic beverages within the premium seating area in accordance with the State of Illinois. All individuals purchasing and/or consuming alcoholic beverages must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age per Illinois state law. All alcohol sales will conclude at the end of the third quarter.
Entrance…Premium seating patrons may enter through the
premium seating lobby on the west side of Memorial Stadium. Individuals with a suite or 77 Club ticket should enter through Gate 16. Those with a Colonnades Club ticket should enter through Gate 18. All suites and club areas will open two hours prior to kickoff and patrons may use Portal 2 for entrance.
Event Rental…If you are interested in reserving a premium
seating club area within Memorial Stadium on a non-football game day for your next event, please contact the Office of Illinois Premium Seating at 217-244-7722.
Premium Seating Opportunities…If you are interested in seats in the Colonnades Club, the 77 Club, or Memorial Stadium Suites please contact the Office of Illinois Premium Seating at 217-244-7722 or visit: www.fightingillini.com/ premiumseating.
Prohibited or Restricted Items… Alcoholic Beverages…are strictly prohibited from being
carried into Memorial Stadium. Patrons seen consuming alcohol during Illinois Football games, outside the premium seating area, will be asked to leave the Stadium. No refunds will be granted for such cases.
Banners & Signs…are not allowed in Memorial Stadium. Cameras…are restricted in Memorial Stadium: cameras with
a stand or tripod are not permitted. Video cameras are not permitted. Personal snapshot pocket cameras are allowed in the stadium, however, in no instance may photography interfere with access ways, seat aisles, or other guests’ enjoyment of the game. Cameras are to come in without a bag unless they meet the CLEAR bag policy. NOTE: Secondary use of any pictures, audio description, film, tape or drawing of the game are the exclusive rights of the NCAA.
Clear Bag Policy…Fans will be able to carry the following styles
and bag sizes into Memorial Stadium: Bags that are CLEAR plastic or vinyl and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”; CLEAR drawstring bag 12” x 12”; One-gallon CLEAR plastic storage bag; Small clutch no larger than 4.5” x 7”. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags (with child) and approved medical needs after proper inspection. All backpacks regardless of size are prohibited and any bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”, clear or non-clear, will be strictly prohibited. Fans are encouraged to bring only necessary items into Memorial Stadium and all bags are subject to search and inspection.
Concealed-Carry…With the passage of the concealed weapons law in the state of Illinois, fans are reminded that concealed weapons are not allowed on the U of I campus and are prohibited at all collegiate sporting events.
Coolers and Containers…are not allowed in Memorial Stadium. (This includes cans, glass bottles, thermos bottles, wine skins, bota bags, and glass of any kind.)
Food and Drink…Food items contained in the approved
CLEAR bags may be carried into Memorial Stadium. Sealed plastic bottles of water, 20 ounces and smaller, may also be carried into the stadium.
Other Items…prohibited from Memorial Stadium include
fireworks, noisemakers (whistles or horns), strollers, baby carriers, tri-pods, umbrellas, video cameras, and weapons of any kind (including pocket knives). Storage facilities are not available for items left at portals.
Personal Seatbacks and Seat Cushions…brought into Memorial Stadium should be 9” x 16” or smaller in size.
Tents and Tailgating… Groups…can reserve tent space in the exclusive tent area in
Lot 31 and Grange Grove (see map 2 for exact locations). To be eligible for tent space, groups must purchase 50 tickets or more (available at a group discount), and order tents, food and beverages through approved vendors. Grange Grove…located directly west of Memorial Stadium,
is a free, high-energy tailgating area, which Fighting Illini fans of all ages can enjoy. There will be space for fans to set up their own tailgate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vehicles will not be allowed inside Grange Grove which will open the day before from 5pm to 7pm for fans to reserve their space and set up any tailgate items. The lot will reopen at 7 a.m. on game day and will remain open until 10 p.m. or one hour after the conclusion of a night game. In addition to tailgating, fans can also enjoy live music and a family fun zone with inflatables, face painting, activities for kids, beginning three hours before kick. There will be a variety of food vendors located on First Street right outside Grange Grove.
Individual Tailgating…is allowed in all football parking
lots. All those tailgating must adhere to the policies listed in the parking section of this guide. Personal tailgating tents and awnings must be 10’x10’ or smaller, and must fit within the boundary of one designated parking space. Tailgating on sidewalks or walkways is prohibited. Personal golf carts are prohibited from tailgating areas. No electrical power will be provided. Please dispose of hot used charcoal in the specified disposal containers located throughout the parking lots.
Ticket Information… Entrance Information…Five portal entrances will be used on game day. Please see Map 3 for locations. For direct and efficient access to your seat, please enter the stadium through the portal nearest your seat location.
Game Day Ticket Sales…are located on the South side of
Kirby Ave. half way between First and Fourth Sts. Ticket booths open at 9 a.m. for morning and afternoon games and 12 p.m. for evening and night games. Please visit fightingillini.com for more information.
Infants and Toddlers…ages two and under, are allowed to
enter the stadium at a discounted ticket price. For $5, fans can purchase an infant ticket, but the infant must sit in the lap of an adult during the game. Infant tickets may not be purchased for use in suites or club areas. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booths located on Kirby Ave. or at Will Call located at the Illinois Ticket Office, located on the West side of the State Farm Center.
Office Information…The Illinois Ticket Office is open
weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located on the West side of the State Farm Center off of First St.

Re-Entry…Patrons are not allowed to leave Memorial Stadium during the game and re-enter with an already scanned ticket. A new ticket is required for entry.
Ticket Replacement Policy…Tickets purchased in advance
of game day that are lost, stolen, or destroyed can be replaced for a $5 fee, if the Illinois Ticket Office can verify that the barcode has not yet been scanned. Once a ticket has been replaced, the barcode on the original ticket will become invalid. Replacement tickets can be obtained on game day at the Illinois Ticket Office, located on the West side of the State Farm Center.
Tickets…may be purchased in person with cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express, over the telephone at 217-333-3470 or 866-ILLINI-1, or online at www.fightingillini. com. NOTE: The Big Ten Conference specifies that every person attending a football game must have a valid ticket to enter the stadium, including infants.
Will Call… General Public Tickets…are to be picked up at the Illinois
Ticket Office, located on the West side of the State Farm Center. Will Call opens at 9 a.m. for morning or early afternoon games and 12 p.m. for evening or night games. In order to obtain tickets at Will Call, a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order must be presented at the time of pick up. Refunds are not issued for unclaimed tickets left at will call.
Press Will Call…is located at the Illinois Ticket Office, located on the West side of the State Farm Center. A valid ID will be required when picking up press credentials.
