HBrazilian Bik ini Wax at Bombshell! Here’s our suggestions on precare and af tercare to make it the best experience possible!
Proper pre -wax care star ts with personal hygiene. I t ’s essential to keep the area to be waxed clean, ideally with a mild, non-per fumed soap to reduce the risk of irritation and infec tion. Avoid applying creams, lotions, or oils to the area before your appointment.
Exfoliation is another crucial step in preparing your sk in for a Brazilian wax. Aim to exfoliate gently about 24 to 48 hours before your waxing appointment. This process removes dead sk in cells, allowing for a cleaner, smoother wax and helping to prevent ingrown hairs.
Another key aspec t of pre -wax care is hair length. The hair should be approximately a quar ter of an inch long - about the length of a grain of rice to allow the
wax might not be able to remove it. If you feel like it ’s longer do not shave or trim! We will do this for you.
If you are concerned about pain don’t be a hero! Pain management is wor th considering. Some individuals opt to take a pain reliever such as ibuprofen about an hour before their waxing appointment . We also carr y No Scream Cream, a topical sk in numbing produc t that does reduce discomfor t on the sk ins sur face.

For 24 to 48 hours post-wax, it ’s recommended to avoid hot baths, saunas, exercise and yes sexual ac tivities as sweat and heat can irritate the freshly waxed sk in. I t ’s also wise to avoid tight clothing that can cause fric tion and exacerbate any potential irritation.
You should also refrain from exfoliation and sun exposure, both of which can irritate the sk in fur ther. Af ter this period, regular gentle exfoliation can help prevent ingrown hairs along with any af tercare.
Another crucial fac tor to aftercare is maintaining good personal hygiene, as freshly waxed sk in is more prone to infec tion. Avoid touching the area and ensure that any sk incare produc ts you use are not expired or contain ingredients that can irritate your sk in. -

Our Express Tans are a great option for anyone in a pinch, or if you have an event that same evening/next morning. After your tan has been applied, you will need to wait 2-3 before showering. If you are looking for a lighter tan, you will want to rinse the solution o around the 2 hour mark. If you are looking for a darker tan, you will want to wait the full 3 hours before rinsing o the solution. Once you rinse the solution o , you will not have to worry about any transfering of the tan, or messing up the tan! There are a few things that you want to avoid when having a spray tan. You want to make sure that you avoid produc ts that contain a high al cohol content, as well as produc ts that contain mineral oil. Alcohol and mineral oil will cause your spray tan to fade, and may cause blotchiness.
Will my spray tan rub o on my clothing?

Q: Who would your ideal hair extension candidate be?
A: An ideal hair ex tension candidate would have at least 5 to 7 inches of hair to work with. This is imperative for the ser vice. If you have hair that is shor ter than 5 inches, speak with your stylist about alternative options to achieve the look you desire. The client should also be prepared to adjust their hair wash c ycle - as ex tensions are not meant to be washed ever y day. If you are someone who needs to wash their hair ever y day or someone who is an avid pool swimmer, you may want to look into removable hair extensions like clip -ins or halos.

A: The main fac tor in determining the best installation technique for the client would be the density of the hair that the client has around their hairline. If the client ’s hairline would not be able to hide the

A: Clients with hair ex tensions should always wear a protec tive style while they sleep - such as a low ponytail or a loose braid. I t is ver y impor tant to sleep with a hair style that creates little to no tension at the area of installation and preventthe hair from getting tangled. Clients should be brushing their ex tensions daily. When
brushing ex tensions, it is best to brush the hair from the bottom, work ing upwards Star ting at the ends of the hair will target any k nots or tangled pieces, without pulling and tugging at the root of the ex tension. Always use the proper produc ts on your ex tensions when styling- mak ing sure to apply a heat protec tant when using any hot tools as well as applying a lightweight oil to the ver y end of your ex tensions in order to keep them hydrated and look ing healthy
Q: How often should extension clients come in for regrowth touchups?
A: Clients who have tape -in ex tensions and hand-tied ex tension wefts should schedule their retouch appointments ever y six to eight weeks- but absolutely no longer than eight weeks. Pushing a retouch appointment out longer than eight weeks can cause damage to the client ’s real hair by creating matted areas throughout the head which causes hair break age.
Q: How often should extension clients be washing their hair/ extensions?
A: Ideally, ex tension clients should be washing their hair exaround twice a week . If your feel like your scalp produces an excess amount oil and sebum and you do not want to wait multiple days between hair washes, you can wash your hair ever y other daybut no more than that.
Q: What are your favorite products to use on hair extensions?
A: My all-time favorite produc ts to use when washing clients with hair ex tensions would be our Unite 7 Seconds Shampoo and 7
Seconds Conditioner. The Unite 7 Seconds Line is moisture - enriched—adding hydration, shine and protec tion to the hair without weighing it down. The 7 Seconds Leave -In Conditioning Spray is another one of my favorite produc ts to use on ex tensions because of it ’s heat protec tant components
Q: What products/styles/ tools should extension clients avoid?
A: When you have hair ex tensions you want to be cautious with the produc ts that you apply to the root of your hair, where the ex tensions have been installed When styling your hair you should avoid using volumizing produc ts, oils, and produc ts that contain a high alcohol content. I t is also ver y impor tant to keep any hot tools that you are using at a temperature no higher than 380°, or you could potentially burn the ex tension hair.
Q: What should I do if my hair extensions feel like they are slipping/going to fall out?
A: If you lose a tape -in ex tension, you can always save it and bring it in for your nex t appointment If you feel like your wef ts are star ting to slip out, you should reach out to your hair stylist for a consultation.
In the consultation, the stylist will assess whether the ex tensions should be moved up sooner, or if they just need to reattach a bead
Q: Can you cut and dye my extensions to match my current hair?
A: During the initial ex tension consultation, we discuss what your end goal/expec tations are. If you are interested in dying your ex tensions, we would match the hair ex tensions to the clients current hair color, or look through
client is look ing for. At the initial ex tension installation appointment, a haircut is included in the ser vice. This haircut is mainly intended to blend the ex tension hair into the client ’s natural hair, and realistic as possible.
Q: Can you get extensions if you have textured hair?
A: Yes! We carr y ex tensions thattures. During the initial ex tension consultation, we would determine how of ten you wear your hair in its natural state -- curly, or smooth. If you have curly hair and are looking for a smooth style, a Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Ser vice may be needed to achieve the look
