Founded by friends Gil & Liz, Mi-Me came about as a result of our desire to create affordable, luxurious bath and body products made with natural ingredients you can actually pronounce. More than just a high concentration of natural ingredients, our love, friendship, and passion go into every product we create.

our founders Gil Co-founder of Mi-Me Handmade Bath & Body Products, Gilbert Chrispin earned a Business degree from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. He spent several years in various capacities in corporate America prior to meshing his corporate experience with his desire to be creative and share his love for hand crafted items with the world. Gilbert’s first exposure to the art and skill of making things by hand came at a young age while living in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He’s been hooked ever since. A self-admitted beauty junkie, Gilbert has been testing and recommending products to friends and loved ones for years. This quickly led to him formulating products for himself and others, eventually to the creation of Mi-Me. Although somewhat removed from the days of creating products for a friend or two, Gilbert still makes regular trips to beauty counters everywhere to educate himself on the latest trends in beauty. He is and always will be one of Mi-Me's resident “Test Cuties.”
Liz The other Mi-Me Handmade Bath & Body founder, Elizabeth Auguste, took a different path than her counterpart, earning an Anthropology degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. While Liz, as she is known to friends and family, spent the majority of her professional life educating inner city youth, her can-do attitude and aesthetic eye led to her playing a prominent role as co-founder of Mi-Me. Liz was also heavily influenced by endless hours spent reading fashion and beauty magazines and experimenting with recommended DIY recipes. Being brought up in a Haitian family additionally impacted her desire to create all sorts of skin, hair, and body concoctions; as Haitians have always used plants and nature’s wonders to keep their skin and hair amazing. Liz leans on her anthropological research to discover natural remedies and recipes that have long been at the heart of other cultures;. Finding ways to infuse these cultural secrets into our products makes Mi-Me the perfect long term segue way to stimulate her personal and professional passions.
