The scenic beauty of the Lowcountry unfolds with Lowndes Grove’s panoramic sunset views. Additional key features include its 1780s-era architecture, which is listed on the National Register for Historic Places; a sprawling grand lawn; spectacular formal dining room ideal for intimate dinners; glass-enclosed portico; an expansive piazza; terraces of bluestone, brick, and oyster tabby; and a private 700-foot river dock. Parcel 32 was originally a family home built in 1837, and has been renovated and restored over the years, serving as a bakery, a shoe repair shop, a restaurant, and most recently, an intimate event venue. Its stunning upstairs cocktail lounge, The Parlour, overlooks Upper King Street and has been uniquely designed to create a contemporary twist on a historic backdrop with designer furnishings, local décor, and original pieces from the Victorian era. The stunning courtyard entrance with ornate custom-designed tile flooring and a lush plant wall is one of the most Instagramable spots in Charleston, making it perfect for micro weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, baby showers, etc.
