CCC Child Creativity Center
2018
On the shore of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of the Smolenka River on Vasilyevsky Island there is a plot of 2.8 hectares. Near this territory there are more than 50,000 people who do not have a full-fledged opportunity for rest and recreation. In addition, this area creates a first impression of St. Petersburg among tourists arriving in the city by sea. The uniqueness of the territory is also related to the planning of the Smolenka River, whose bed was straightened along the axis of Nevsky Prospect in the middle of the 20th century, thereby providing visual access to the sea and strategic views of Kronstadt and St. Isaac’s Cathedral, protected as historical monuments of St. Petersburg.

CLAUSURA from the Latin (“clouso - close ) is an exercise to quickly find solutions to any creative task or project on a particular topic. The exercise is aimed at the development of creative thinking and had always been performed indoors in the past, so as not to be able to go out and use the clue. Thus, the subjects portray only their ideas and show everything what they are capable of for a limited amount of time from 2 to 8 hours.
