Nursing Careers Begin at LCCC

Lorain County Community College’s nursing programs prepare students for rewarding careers in the healthcare industry, right here in Northeast Ohio. In fact, LCCC is the number one training location in Lorain County for first responders, including nurses.

Amanda Badillo, of Elyria, is working in her dream career as an operating room nurse, after earning her associate degree in nursing from LCCC in 2023 and passing the NCLEX. Badillo says LCCC helped her build a foundation of excellence as a registered nurse (RN).

“There is no room for mediocrity. There are no exceptions. And with that high standard, you have to absolutely give it your all,” she said of LCCC’s nursing program.
